Earlier in the week, Scott Steiner challenged Hulk Hogan to show up at Legends of Wrestling and try to body slam him, a feat that he was willing to pay $1 million. Well, to avoid being caught up in any legal issues, the promoter of the event has released a public statement. In it, he states that his company has nothing to do with the challenge or the video. He said that was something Steiner did on his own. He reiterated that Hogan is not a part of the show.

In a rather interesting development, Scott Steiner has challenged Hulk Hogan to come to the Legends of Wrestling event on June 7, 2015 in New York. Steiner states that Hogan's biggest claim to fame is body slamming Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania decades ago. He is putting up a million dollars out of his own pocket to say that Hogan cannot body slam him now. Of course, Steiner also threatened to attack Hogan if he does show up in the ring.

Even though he is just as qualified as some of the performers that have already been inducted, do not expect to see Brutus Beefcake being thrown into the hall of fame by WWE any time soon. He has had quite a few controversial incidents over the years. Plus, the former Intercontinental Champion has backstage heat with Hulk Hogan. Considering the fact that the company wants to keep a business relationship with Hogan, the induction will not happen.

Much has been discussed about the rumored backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Steve Austin as of late. We might know what initially started the friction between the two. Austin revealed in an interview with Sports Illustrated that WWE lied to him during his last appearance at Wrestlemania. He was promised that he would be the last to come out during his segment with Hulk Hogan, but they gave that honor to The Rock instead.

For years now, the creative department has had a reputation of wanting to amuse Vince McMahon with on screen stuff. Their latest efforts reportedly is the return of the Mega Powers. This time, though, it will not feature Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Rather, it will be Curtis Axel playing the role of Hogan, while Damien Sandow plays the role of Savage. Sandow recently debut his new Macho Mandow character at a live event.

It appears that WWE has called in some heavy hitters to make up for the loss of Steve Austin on the next season of Tough Enough. Chris Jericho has finally been announced as the host. He will be joined by a panel consisting of Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige. Not only that, the trainers are going to be Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. There will be guest appearances made on the show by Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena.

In a very sad story, it has now been revealed that Brutus Beefcake has sunk so low in life that he has resorted to selling autographed photos of Hulk Hogan that have fake signatures. Hogan took to social media to warn fans that he was not the one that signed those. He also stated that he never gave Beefcake anything to sell. The two of them were once as close as brothers, but some backstage heat has gotten in between them since.

Since there are so many gullible wrestling fans out there that are willing to believe every single thing that he says, Hulk Hogan has a penchant for fabricating some of his stories. For example, he revealed during an interview this week that he was recruited to join the UFC when it was first founded. Campbell McLaren, the original founder, took to social media to deny the statement and flat out stated that Hogan was making things up.

It appears that WWE is having issues with gaining interest from fans in Australia. The company has announced that they are bringing Hulk Hogan along with them for the tour in August. He will be serving as a general manager of the three shows that they will be running. Generally, you only take Hogan overseas whenever it is deemed necessary because the cost of doing so is said to be pretty high. Management recently used him in Japan.
