Natalya at Wrestlemania

For a while there, the belief was that WWE was going to throw several tag teams together and have them battling for the championship at Wrestlemania. However, it appears that the idea has been scrapped. The most likely scenario right now has Tyson Kidd, Antonio Cesaro and Natalya teaming up to take on Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Naomi in a mixed tag team match. The backup plan is to have the men do a traditional tag match.

NXT stars at Wrestlemania

Since the brand has been growing in popularity as of late, a lot of WWE fans were excited at the prospect of some of the developmental wrestlers being used at Wrestlemania. Unfortunately, though, that might not be happening after all. Reports have surfaced that management is looking to trim the Andre the Giant battle royal down to only 20 participants. That makes it harder for the likes of Finn Balor, Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens to get spots.

Alex Riley returning

It looks like all that time being a good soldier is finally about to pay off for Alex Riley. WWE is giving him what he has been wanting for quite some time now. On the latest episode of NXT, fans witnessed him giving up his spot at the commentating table so that he could finally get revenge and get his hands on Kevin Owens, the heavyweight champion. A match between the two will take place in a couple of weeks.

This experiment that WWE did with Kevin Owens being given an immediate push has seemingly paid off instantly. Not only is there more interest from the internet wrestling community, but ticket sales at NXT live events have been doing better than usual since Owens was booked in main event matches against Finn Balor during the tour. Owens is also reportedly moving a good amount of merchandise, so a promotion to the main roster is expected.

Kane at Wrestlemania

For a while now, everyone knew that Kane was going to be given a match at Wrestlemania by WWE officials. We just did not know where on the card that would take place. A couple of ideas were penciled in and erased over the last several weeks, but it now appears that management has opted to throw the Big Red Machine into the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal. The former world heavyweight champion adds some credibility.

Santino Marella at Wrestlemania

Some of you already know that Santino Marella has been working out hard in an attempt to make a return to WWE. He suffered a bit of a setback not too long ago, but his fans were still holding out hope that he would be able to make it back in time for Wrestlemania. Through social media, the former Intercontinental Champion revealed that his body is not quite ready for the biggest pay per view of the year. His last surgery was around Christmas.

Bill DeMott on Tough Enough

The controversy surrounding Bill DeMott is causing some headaches for WWE. The allegations have now thrown a wrench into their plans for the upcoming season of Tough Enough. In the past, they were able to showcase the intensity and roughness of DeMott as a trainer, but since he is being accused of being a bully by several former developmental wrestlers, management is understandably hesitant to put that on display on national television.
