Hornswoggle vs Heath Slater

In one of the more heartwarming moments, WWE did Hornswoggle a huge favor. During a live event in his hometown of Green Bay, Road Dogg and John Laurinaitis decided to use their backstage power and allow the diminutive performer to work a match against Heath Slater, which he won. The man legally known as Dylan Postl was also allowed to bring his son to the ring.

Since he has not been featured much on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown lately, the internet wrestling community has naturally wondered if Hornswoggle was still with the company. He is still employed and does a lot of behind the scenes stuff for WWE, including segments on the Network. The guy also does a lot of meet and greets with children.

Hornswoggle surgery

Since he has not been utilized on television in quite some time now, a lot of fans might have forgotten about Hornswoggle. He provided an update on his condition on social media recently. The man legally known as Dylan Postl recently underwent arthroscopic shoulder decompression surgery. He is not expected to be back on the road with WWE anytime soon. His last televised match was on Smackdown back in the beginning of October.

Hornswoggle backstage

While he has not been used very frequently on television, Hornswoggle is usually backstage whenever WWE films Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Many were under the impression that he had been sent home because he no longer was being utilized with the Miz and Damien Sandow, a gimmick that was viewed as being hilarious by many backstage. The Wisconsin native still works plenty of live events for the company.
