The former NWA star revealed that he was one of the three finalists to play the role of Ivan Drago, the main antagonist to Sylvester Stallone in Rocky 4. He stated that he was flown out to Los Angeles for one final audition. However, studio executives decided that it would be best to go with Dolph Lundgren because he was not as big as Koloff.

Management was impressed, but they did not finalize a deal until now.

That has helped to bring in more revenue for the company.
