Some interesting details have surfaced about the departure of MVP from TNA. While the initial belief was that he left the company on his own accord, which was something that he had been contemplating, reports have now surfaced that he was actually fired over the Hernandez situation. Management blames him for how everything went down with that fiasco.

Since they already spent the money and effort to film the segments, TNA officials have reportedly attempted to try to make a deal with Lucha Underground to let them use footage of Shawn Hernandez on upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling. The latter company is said to be very much against the idea because they feel that Hernandez is still a part of their promotion.

Dixie Carter was contacted about the issue. To avoid a potential lawsuit, she decided to release Hernandez from the promotion and remove filmed footage from upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling.

Reports have surfaced that several of the performers backstage have grown rather frustrated with management for not providing them with updates on the status of the company. Some are under the belief that the promotion will be folding, as a second season has yet to be announced.

Fans that watched Impact Wrestling this week got to witness a surprising return. Shawn Hernandez came back to TNA and aligned himself with the Beat Down Clan. The belief was that the former world tag team champion was done with the company because they stopped booking him a while back. The two sides have made amends.
