Solomon Crowe

WWE releases Solomon Crowe

Some further information has been revealed about the release of Solomon Crowe. Reports have now surfaced that the performer was the one that requested the release. The 28 year old finally decided to give up on his dream of being a WWE star when he realized that management had no plans on giving him much of a push in NXT. On the flip side, the front office felt that his heel turn generated little interest.

Hulk Hogan

Hogan on Cena heel turn

During a recent interview, Hulk Hogan revealed that he was not certain that his heel turn would work out. He only felt comfortable with it when fans started throwing trash at the nWo. When asked if he felt that a heel turn would work for John Cena, Hogan stated that it could work because of the writers in WWE and the talent that Cena possesses. Hogan has not ruled out the possibility of that happening some day.

Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe turning heel

Since he has lost a lot of momentum, WWE is considering the possibility of a heel turn for Samoa Joe. The feeling is that an NXT Heavyweight Championship match between two heels is not going to be as much of a draw, even though both performers are among the best in the world. Joe might only be a heel on a temporary basis because the front office thinks he can be a face on the main roster.

Myzteziz turns heel

A rather interesting story line is taking place down in Mexico. During Triplemania, Myzteziz did a heel turn on Rey Mysterio and joined a stable featuring Konnan. The group proceeded to beat down the former world heavyweight champion. He then challenged Mysterio to a mask versus mask match. That should prove to be a huge draw for AAA.

Vince Russo

Goldberg quick heel turn

For the longest time now, the internet wrestling community have blamed Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo for the awkward and short lived heel turn that Goldberg did in WCW back in 2000. The former world heavyweight champion has now explained that the reason behind that was because he asked to do a face turn again. The motive behind that was because he came backstage and saw a young Make-A-Wish girl crying at his on screen antics.

Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose turning heel

Over the past several months, Dean Ambrose has been losing a good amount of momentum, despite being one of the better performers in WWE. Management wants to help him turn things back around, so the idea of a heel turn is being tossed around backstage. Ambrose would do so during the main event of Payback. He would then join the Authority, which should cause quite a reaction from the audience because they like him a lot as a face.

Erick Rowan

Erick Rowan turns heel

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Erick Rowan turned heel by attacking Fandango after he lost a match to Luke Harper. The heel turn was set up by a false stare down between the two former Wyatt Family members. The reason for the move is because management really had nothing for Rowan to do. Harper had a little momentum, but it wasn't anything major. The decision to put them back together should provide depth to the tag team division.

El Torito

Los Matadores as heels

There is some confusion backstage in WWE in regards to how Los Matadores are being used. They recently did a subtle heel turn because the front office needed someone to fill that role during a title match at Wrestlemania. However, many are questioning the decision to stick with that plan because El Torito was specifically designed to entertain the children. Diego and Fernando worked as heels during the Smackdown taping this week.

Marti Belle

Awesome Kong turning face

As some of you may have seen on Impact Wrestling, Taryn Terrell did a heel turn and introduced a new stable called the Dollhouse (with Mia Yim and Marti Belle). The trio attacked Awesome Kong to help Taryn retain the belt. That has led many to wonder what Kong would do next. There are rumors floating around that TNA is considering a face turn for her. She would debut a kinder and gentler version of her character.

Bella Twins

Nikki Bella turning face

Since Paige might not be available because she is filming a movie and Naomi just did a heel turn, WWE is looking into the possibility of Nikki Bella working as a baby face when she defends the belt against the latter at Extreme Rules on Sunday night. They even tested out the audience reaction at a live event during the tour of Europe last week. The face turn might not necessarily be a full time thing, however, as management likes the Bella Twins as is.
