In a no disqualification match at TLC, Kofi Kingston defeated the Miz via pin fall after hitting the Trouble in Paradise finisher. Miz had exposed the turnbuckle, but it ended up backfiring on him. Not a lot of interest from the audience.

After Tensai, Naomi and Cameron abandoned him during his match, Brodus Clay, who exhibited heel tendencies throughout the match at TLC, was defeated via pin fall by R Truth, who nailed his opponent with a kick to the face.

CM Punk defeated all three members of the Shield during the opening match of TLC. He was able to pin Dean Ambrose after Roman Reigns accidentally hit his teammate with the spear. Match was entertaining, and the crowd was lively.

December 15, 2013

Fandango defeated Dolph Ziggler in a really short TLC kickoff match. He won via pinfall after nailing the top rope leg drop. Summer Rae provided some distraction to help Fandango score the win over the former World Heavyweight Champion.

December 15, 2013
John Cena

WWE filmed a Tribute to the Troops special. Since John Cena worked the event without either of the championship belts with him, there are heavy speculations that Randy Orton will walk out as the unified champion at the TLC pay per view.

December 13, 2013
Big E Langston

WWE is hinting that the Intercontinental Championship will be given a boost once John Cena or Randy Orton unify the two main championship belts at TLC. That means that Big E Langston could be in line for a big push very soon.

December 12, 2013
Dolph Ziggler

On Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that Dolph Ziggler and Fandango will be doing the kickoff match at the TLC pay per view. Neither guy has been given much of a push, and there is not a lot of history between the two of them.

December 10, 2013
Randy Orton

Many within WWE are expecting Randy Orton to beat John Cena to capture both belts at the TLC pay per view. The belief is that management will allow Cena to lose the match since it can be done without a pin fall or submission.

December 7, 2013
Xavier Woods

The top candidates to work the kickoff match at the TLC pay per view right now are Xavier Woods, R Truth, Brodus Clay and Tensai. There's also a chance that WWE could opt to do a singles match between Woods and Clay as well.

March 13, 2014
Seiya Sanada
Since he is now working closely with Wrestle-1, many were under the impression that Rob Terry might have been chosen to team up with the Great Muta and Seiya Sanada during TNA Lockdown 2014, but the move was something that management was against because they want him to return in a much bigger way down the line.
March 11, 2014
Chris Sabin
Chris Sabin grew up as a wrestling fan, so it comes as no surprise that he would be a huge follower of the Great Muta. He gushed on Twitter about how awesome it was to work against the Japanese legend at TNA Lockdown 2014.

Chris Sabin

March 9, 2014
Great Muta
While his relationship with TNA is still on good terms, it appears that Rob Terry will be staying with Wrestle-1 for the time being, as everyone involved feels that he has much to gain in terms of experience by working with the Great Muta and his roster of talented performers. He will eventually be brought back to Impact Wrestling some day.
March 9, 2014
Seiya Sanada
Seiya Sanada is working the TNA Lockdown 2014 pay per view this weekend, and the Japanese star is already in America. Before heading to Miami, though, he stopped by New York City. The belief is that he and the Great Muta could be doing some business for the new Wrestle-1 promotion. Sanada himself will be sticking around with TNA for a few weeks.
March 8, 2014
Masakatsu Funaki
When Masakatsu Funaki defeated Bobby Roode over the weekend during the Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view, he called out Kurt Angle. It was rumored that the Great Muta was trying to get Angle out to Tokyo for a show, and it now appears that should be happening at his next big event in July. Muta has a talent exchange agreement with Dixie Carter and TNA.
March 3, 2014
Masakatsu Funaki
In what could be a sign of things to come, Masakatsu Funaki challenged Kurt Angle after defeating Bobby Roode at the Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view. Great Muta and Dixie Carter have a business relationship now, and there are plans in the works for Muta to send some of his performers to work for TNA later on this year. Funaki might be among the group to do so.
March 2, 2014
Davey Richards
Late last month, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards captured the TNA tag titles at a live event from the BroMans. At the Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view, Jessie Godderz and Robbie E recaptured the championships. Great Muta really wanted a title change to take place at his show, so Dixie Carter and her company complied with those wishes.
March 2, 2014
Frankie Kazarian
Shortly after announcing that the Great Muta would be wrestling at TNA Lockdown 2014, the company has now revealed what match he will be involved in. The Japanese legend will team up with Seiya Sanada and Tigre Uno to take on the TNA trio of Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Chris Saban.
March 1, 2014
Dixie Carter
In order to generate even further interest into TNA Lockdown 2014, Dixie Carter has just announced that the Great Muta will be wrestling on the show. No word yet on who his opponent will be. Much of the card has already been set up, so there are talks that the Japanese legend will be working a match against Seiya Sanada, another Wrestle-1 star.
February 28, 2014
Rob Terry
Considering how much of a powerful figure the Great Muta is in Japan, it's not a bad idea to get in on his good side if you want to make a name for yourself in that country. Rob Terry has apparently been able to do just that, as he has now been given the honors of teaming up with the former WCW star during the first series of Wrestle-1 tour.
February 28, 2014
Austin Aries
The Great Muta is running his first Wrestle-1 pay per view in a few days, so it looks like several TNA stars are starting to head over to Japan. Through this Twitter post, Austin Aries revealed that he is leaving the country today to work the Outbreak pay per view.
February 27, 2014
Great Muta
A big six man tag team match has been added to the Wrestle-1 Outbreak, and Samoa Joe will be heavily featured, as the TNA star is teaming up with former WWE star Rene Dupree and Masayuki Kono. The three of them will face the Great Muta, who founded the promotion, Rob Terry and a mystery partner. The event takes place next week in Japan.
February 26, 2014
Rob Terry
After spending a few weeks resting in the United States, Rob Terry is back in Japan, where he is working the first ever tour for Wrestle-1. February 26, 2014
Great Muta
Over the weekend, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards captured their first championship in TNA, as the duo was able to wrest the tag team titles away from Jessie Godderz and Robbie E at a house show. The move had been expected since Dixie Carter wants to send Edwards and Richards to Japan to work for the Great Muta on his Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view.
February 24, 2014
Great Muta
As many already know, TNA and Wrestle-1 are doing a joint pay per view in Japan in March, and it now looks like the business relationship between Dixie Carter and the Great Muta is going to be extended. The two sides have discussed doing a couple of more events later on in the year, and a show in the United States is a possibility.
February 18, 2014
Seiya Sanada
Austin Aries is one of the TNA stars being sent to Japan in a couple of weeks to work the Wrestle-1 Outbreak pay per view. The Great Muta, who founded the promotion, has selected Seiya Sanada to challenge Aries for the X Division Championship. Brutus Magnus
"I'm as grateful to Sting as anybody in the wrestling business for the benefit he has had in my career. Steve is a great guy and very very smart and just a model citizen as far as the way he conducts himself and how much respect he commands. There are some people who seem to be obsessed with respect and seem to be obsessed with guys not showing them enough respect but Sting is a guy who has never had to pull any stunts, never had to bully anyone, never had to throw his weight around or pull rank; he commands respect. The same could be said about Kurt Angle." - Brutus Magnus discusses how Sting is backstage
April 15, 2014
Jeff Jarrett
"Seems like TNA is signing their core talents whose contracts are either up or in need of revising. WWE has seemingly made it clear that they have no interest in Impact talents and will instead reply on their Performance Center for their future stars. However, with Jeff Jarrett preparing to launch another promotion it makes sense for TNA to be proactive." - Jim Ross reveals that WWE is not interested in TNA performers
April 15, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
"Not sure why as a fan I should dislike Cesaro and it can't be simply because he's aligned himself with Paul Heyman. Cesaro simply outwrestles people and is damned impressive while doing it. Some of Cesaro's matches down in NXT the last year or so were better than anyone on RAW was having at the time." - Jim Ross thinks Antonio Cesaro should do a face turn
April 15, 2014
Christopher Daniels
"A unique athlete, it's funny because he was a book that was judged by his cover, for a very long time and it took a while to get him into TNA and we were always fighting to get him in. Everybody was like 'we gotta change his look and blah blah blah,' but finally when they gave him the chance, he showed them that you didn't need to judge him by the cover because he brings a unique intensity and a unique character to TNA and I think it would be a different TNA without him. He has changed the business." - Christopher Daniels discusses Samoa Joe
April 15, 2014
Jim Ross
"I assume that he hasn't signed with WWE only because WWE hasn't announced it. Signing Sting would create positive news for WWE as he is a major star that WWE can monetize in a variety of ways if he comes aboard. I don't see Sting even needing to wrestle to be a viable asset to WWE if he does sign with the company. If Sting did have one match it WWE it would need to be a long build, much anticipated one that has a significant payoff at a major event more specifically Wrestlemania 31." - Jim Ross talks about the rumors of Sting signing with WWE
April 15, 2014
Davey Richards
"I never really wanted to go to WWE. The tryout there was awesome. It was really fun and I can't say enough good things and I learned a lot, but I told a few of the guys during the initial tryout with Eddie that this was not for me just because moving down to Orlando is not what I wanted to do and wrestling is not the only thing I want to do with my life. To give up everything and just live in that world is not my idea of a great life or a perfect life. TNA offered me to be able to wrestle with some of the best wrestlers in the world, I could be on television, I could go and entertain crowds but I could still come home and be Wes. I could be Davey, then I could be Wes. It was just better for me and I couldn't be happier in TNA it's been great." - Davey Richards on choosing TNA over WWE
April 14, 2014
Marty Jannetty
"Happiest guy living right now. Wish I was there to watch her grow up, but so happy to be given this gift now. And from here on, I'm going to be a different person than I have been. Will be the best daddy ever, or at least the best one I can be. I'm the happiest guy on this planet right now. Now, I get it. To all the boys who have told me how it's life changing when you have a kid, man, had no kids, so I didn't get it. Now I do. That's my girl. Guys, don't you dare look at her twice. Bad ankles and all, I will make sure you never look at my daughter like that again. Love you, Bianca." - Marty Jannetty after finding out that he has a daughter
April 14, 2014
Paul London
"I've always admired and looked up to Terry Funk. Never did I actually think I'd be walking just like him. Knees hurt." - Paul London explaining how much of a toll the wrestling business gives to the body
April 14, 2014
Alexa Bliss
"I cannot believe it. So shocked and saddened by the news of the Ultimate Warrior passing. Rest in peace. Prayers." - Alexa Bliss on the death of Ultimate Warrior
April 12, 2014
Lance Storm
"Crazy story. While we were away, my mom found a briefcase and sales material scattered beside our house by the fence. She gathered them up and then tried to find some personal info to see who lost the stuff. She found a busienss card and called. Person who answered said the case was stolen out of her car over a year ago in Victoria, BC. No idea how it got to Calgary in our yard over a year later. Weird." - Lance Storm tells a weird story that took place at his house
April 12, 2014
Matt Hardy

April 11, 2014
Sean Waltman
"I got a sense he wasn't well. It was sad to me. He was kind of hunched over. He used to have such great posture. You just had this sense that he wasn't well. But he was in great spirits. He came up to (other wrestlers) and gave them hugs." - Sean Waltman discusses the health of the Ultimate Warrior during Wrestlemania 30 weekend
April 11, 2014
Buff Bagwell
"When I first heard the news of the Ultimate Warrior's passing - from my oldest son - my first thoughts were of his precious daughters, and how their father - whose love for them was clear - had been taken away from them far to early in their lives. My second thought was about the foolish tweet I sent out during Warrior's Hall of Fame induction speech - and how badly I wish I could have taken those words back. Maybe they seemed harmless at the time, but in retrospect, the fact that my final words about Warrior were negative ones has had me feeling pretty bad these last 24 hours. I did not dislike Warrior. I got along fine with him in 1996, and years later, during a 'Legends Rountable' focusing on 'Heatseekers', I was good-naturedly kidded by my fellow Roundtable guests for having nothing negative to say about Warrior, Paul Heyman or Buff Bagwell." - Mick Foley talks about his relationship with Ultimate Warrior
April 10, 2014
Cody Rhodes
"Why are folks surprised by Nancy Grace? She got dumped by a professional wrestler in the 1980s and started a life quest to be just awful. If she was remotely confident in her accusations, she would interview an active talent. Yet, she won't do that because she'd have a Mark Cuban and Skip Bayless situation, and she would come off as the ignorant sweat hog she actually is." - Cody Rhodes bashes Nancy Grace for attacking the wrestling business
April 10, 2014
Diamond Dallas Page
"I went on Nancy Grace last night expecting to discuss Warrior the man. Had I known the only topic discussed would be steroids I would not have participated. At the time I was also unaware of the list that was shown to the viewing audience. To imply that all of the wrestlers on that list died from steroids was wrong and for that they owe the families an apology. Again, my only intention was to discuss Warrior the man and share some stories about how dedicated he was to the wrestling business. I am saddened that was not what happened and my thoughts remain with his family." - Diamond Dallas Page discusses Nancy Grace interview
April 10, 2014
Bret Hart
"I'm deeply saddened at the sudden passing of Jim Hellwig, the Ultimate Warrior. I wish I'd been kinder to him in the last momnets that we had this past weekend at Wrestlemania 30. We did cross paths once or twice, but we were all so busy. I never went out of my way to see him, but if I could, I'd tell him he looked good. He looked content, and he looked like he'd finally found happiness within his children and his wife. He never ever harmed me, nor did we really work with one another. I wish we had. His final ring promo breaks my heart. I have many fond memories of times we shared, only now do they pile up in my head. I'd also tell him that he was right. He never was such a bad guy. My thoughts are with his wife and children. I never thought his time would be so short. I know one thing. I will never forget him." - Bret Hart discusses the death of Ultimate Warrior
