Reports have now surfaced that the reason why the two promotions decided to end their partnership is because the Great Muta is struggling to keep his company afloat. Since they are going through some financial struggles, they are unable to book wrestlers from the United States. Talent was not being exchanged as agreed upon.

Since her partnership with the Great Muta and Wrestle 1 has ended, Dixie Carter wants to build upon another international business relationship. It is being said that a big part of the reason why TNA is sending Mr Anderson, Drew Galloway and Matt Hardy down to Mexico for the Lucha Libre World Cup is because the company wants to expand on their talent exchange program with AAA. They want to bring in several more Mexican stars to the US.
