Great Muta

Wrestle 1 struggling

When it was reported that Wrestle 1 and TNA had decided to end their business relationship, speculation filled the air. Reports have now surfaced that the reason why the two promotions decided to end their partnership is because the Great Muta is struggling to keep his company afloat. Since they are going through some financial struggles, they are unable to book wrestlers from the United States. Talent was not being exchanged as agreed upon.

Drew Galloway

TNA and AAA partnership

Since her partnership with the Great Muta and Wrestle 1 has ended, Dixie Carter wants to build upon another international business relationship. It is being said that a big part of the reason why TNA is sending Mr Anderson, Drew Galloway and Matt Hardy down to Mexico for the Lucha Libre World Cup is because the company wants to expand on their talent exchange program with AAA. TNA and Wrestle 1 end partnership

When it was announced that Seiya Sanada was leaving the promotion, rumors spread that the relationship between TNA and Wrestle 1 had gone downhill. Apparently, that is the case, as the two companies are no longer doing business together. It is being said that the Great Muta has more of a relationship with Jeff Jarrett than Dixie Carter, whom he does respect. This is the reason why Sanada is now a member of the GFW roster.

Great Muta scouting

During his latest business trip to the United States, the Great Muta did more than work a match on Impact Wrestling. He also did some scouting as well. The legend from Japan paid a visit to the wrestling school owned by Dory Funk Jr in Florida. Muta was looking for talented performers that might be interested in heading overseas and working for his Wrestle 1 promotion. Funk is a legendary figure in that country, so his students are valuable.
