It has been a couple of months now since he was sent home from the company, and it appears that Eric Bischoff is very unlikely to make his return to the TNA front office. He is making a good amount of money by being a television producer, and he really appears to enjoy his personal time, where he hangs out with his family and travels frequently.
Samoa Joe revealed some bad news on Twitter. While he was off in Europe touring with TNA, he had a death in the family. His grandfather passed away. Since he did not want to leave work, he was forced to miss the funeral.
In order to sell his big match at Wrestlemania 3 against Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant was promoted as having an undefeated streak that stretched over fifteen years. Gorilla Monsoon heavily sold that fact as well. However, he had actually been beaten a few times in other countries during that time period.
Since the start, Bray Wyatt has done all of the talking to the Wyatt Family. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan generally just stand to the side and in the background during the interview segments. On Smackdown this week, though, Harper actually says a few words.
WWE has quietly released Judas Devlin, a developmental wrestler who was supposed to have been called up to the main roster to join Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in the Wyatt Family stable. He has been removed from the official roster page for WWE NXT.
Apparently, Triple H has played a big part in helping out Ric Flair over the last year. When the family confronted Flair about his issues, it was HHH who was on the phone during the family intervention. He informed the former NWA champion that WWE would cut him off if he did not get things together.
In professional wrestling, the term "gorilla position" is thrown around backstage in WWE, TNA, ROH and even some independent wrestling promotions. It is used to describe the backstage agent that gives instructions to the performers right before they go through the curtains.
