The former world heavyweight champion has now explained that the reason behind that was because he asked to do a face turn again. The motive behind that was because he came backstage and saw a young Make-A-Wish girl crying at his on screen antics.

Since leaving WWE, it has been reported that one of the options for Alberto Del Rio was in mixed martial arts. We also know that Goldberg has dabbled in the field. Well, the former WCW star has revealed something rather interesting. He stated that he was offered a kickboxing fight with Del Rio on a card scheduled for May. The former world heavyweight champion seriously considered it before Del Rio suffered an injury.

He believes that is why the company has been allowing several performers to utilize the spear as a finishing move. The former world heavyweight champion revealed at a fan session that he felt Regal was being a jerk that evening. He also believes that Regal was jealous because he spent years in the industry and never received a push as big as the one he received. The 48 year old said he would gladly fight Regal today.

When he was asked what it was like to work with Steve Austin, the former WCW World Heavyweight Champion stated that he regrets not having been given the chance to work a match together. He feels that it could have been electric.

During a recent Submission Radio interview, Goldberg revealed some interesting facts about his choices when he decided to become a professional wrestler. He stated that he did have contact with Jim Ross and Vince McMahon, but he did not like the way that the meeting went. McMahon still offered him a contract as a performer. The former world heavyweight champion then decided to contact Eric Bischoff and sign with WCW instead.
