It looks like the longstanding real life backstage heat between Goldberg and Scott Hall has now ended. The disdain between the two sides started when both were working in WCW. Goldberg has publicly stated that Hall was unprofessional and careless in the ring. The two of them were spotted together at a wrestling convention in Arizona recently, and they appeared to be cordial with one another.

It has been several years since the two of them worked together, but Chris Jericho still harbors a good amount of resentment towards Goldberg. During a one night show in London, Jericho expressed his feelings about the former WCW champion to the audience. He stated that Golberg had a bad attitude, no sense of humor and was an idiot. Jericho also noted that a pay per view match between the two of them never took place because Goldberg opted to go hunting that day instead.

During a recent interview, Goldberg revealed that he recently let WWE know that he's interested in a return. He listed Triple H and Brock Lesnar as two opponents that he would love to work with. Goldberg also added Roman Reigns and noted that they both played college football at Georgia. The former world heavyweight champion feels that WWE can do a story out of that connection.

In order to get the ball rolling, officials are trying to work out a deal with Goldberg that will see him being included as a character in WWE 2K15 this fall. The company would then start hyping that up around Summerslam 2014 to gauge the interest of the fans. Once that happens, then the company can negotiate with Goldberg to work a match at Wrestlemania 31.

ABC has a sitcom called the Goldbergs, and producers have a special wrestling themed episode coming up soon. Goldberg himself has been cast for the show, and he intends to do a tribute to the Ultimate Warrior on there. Katsuyori Shibata
Back in 2000, the world of professional wrestling was saddened by the death of Masakazu Fukuda. While working a tournament match, Fukuda was hit by a flying elbow drop from Katsuyori Shibata. The blow proved to be fatal, as Fukuda had to be taken to the hospital, where he died a couple of days later. New Japan finished the tournament and dedicated the event in his honor.

Sid Vicious
Prior to becoming a star in WCW, Sid Vicious managed to pull off a pretty amazing feat while working for New Japan. Even though he was an unknown, Vicious was able to convince the promoters in Japan to give him a shot at the legendary Tatsumi Fujinami and the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. He lost, of course, but was able to gain some recognition in the late 1980s by being in the match.

In a little known fact in professional wrestling, Bobby Heenan was originally scheduled to manage Jesse Ventura. Vince McMahon had lured him away from the AWA for that particular role. However, Ventura had blood clots in his lungs, which was due to his stint in the Vietnam War, and was forced to retire as an in ring performer. WWE moved Heenan on to other wrestlers.
