Undertaker biker gimmick

Rumors are floating around right now that Undertaker may be bringing back the biker gimmick for his upcoming match at Summerslam against Brock Lesnar. However, the belief is that the speculation was started by people who really are wishing to see the character one more time. WWE has long wanted the Phenom to finish his career with the dead man gimmick.

While promoting his new book, JTG agreed to do an interview recently, and he was asked about how black performers were treated in WWE. He stated that the creative department needed to have more diversity among the writers because they simply cannot come up with up to date characters and gimmicks for black performers. He feels that is a market that is severely neglected.

Due to the controversy that was created by Hulk Hogan this week, Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow are being forced to drop their impersonation gimmicks, which was a key selling point for the duo. During a live event over the weekend, the two of them still were a tag team but they were dressed in generic clothing. They will more than likely be kept off of television until something can be found for them.

Earlier this month, John Cena mentioned the Funkasaurus gimmick during an episode of Monday Night Raw. Brodus Clay was told of that, and he fired back a bit. He stated that the only difference between Cena and PN News is that Cena was given a push. In case you aren't aware, News was a lower card performer in WCW that had a white rapper gimmick during the early 1990s.

He invited Nikita Koloff to make the jump with him and even told him of the new character that he would be portraying. Koloff felt that it seemed like too much of a Road Warriors rip off that he was turned off on the idea. He decided to remain loyal to the company that gave him his start.

The belief is that Wrestlemania 4 did one and produced lackluster numbers.
