WRESTLING REVEALED

Brooke Tessmacher

Robbie and Brooke lose

As wrestling fans, many of us were rooting for Brooke Tessmacher and Robbie E to win the Amazing Race, a reality television show on CBS. The real life couple made it all the way to the finals, but unfortunately, they were not able to win the entire thing, a prize of one million dollars. Getting to the finals is still a feat to be proud of. Their superb performance also helped bring some additional exposure, both for themselves and for TNA.

Xavier Woods

New Day at Royal Rumble

Rumors are floating around right now that the New Day will be given a featured spot at the Royal Rumble, where Xavier Woods and Big E Langston are expected to be a part of the annual big spot from Kofi Kingston. Management halted the push that the trio was supposed to get, but an exciting spot during the battle royal could help to change all of that. No word yet on what Kingston has planned, but you can be certain that he is already thinking of it.

Ryback

Rusev not in Royal Rumble

One of the ideas being tossed around backstage in WWE is to keep Rusev out of the big Royal Rumble match. Some are leaning towards putting him in a singles match at the pay per view against Ryback, where the big Russian sympathizer would pick up another victory against a strong opponent. The belief is that management does not want him to suffer a loss in a battle royal, as he is not slated to win the event. A singles match would prevent that.

Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio at Royal Rumble

While the company initially had hoped that Rey Mysterio would be available for the Survivor Series, the belief is that WWE has had a change of heart about rushing the former world heavyweight champion back into action. Management is more than likely going to save his in ring return at the Royal Rumble, where Mysterio can be one of the surprise entrants at the pay per view. A feud would then be set up, so that he can work a Wrestlemania match.

Charlotte

WWE signing Tessa Blanchard

Earlier this month, Tessa Blanchard received a tryout with WWE. While nothing official has been stated yet, the belief is that the company will end up signing her to a developmental contract and training her for NXT. Her name value really means a lot, and she could end up working a program with Charlotte. As many of you already know, their legendary fathers, Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard, were a part of the Four Horsemen stable together.
