Frankie Kazarian
While they both have now established themselves as singles stars, there are talks backstage in TNA of doing a Beer Money reunion. The hope would be that James Storm and Bobby Roode can remain relevant while carrying the tag team division once again. It would help fill the void that is being left by the potential departures of Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian.

Frankie Kazarian

"I never had anything but good experiences with Eric. He was always a straight shooter with us, especially with Bad Influence. He was a big supporter of our act and I could always go to him with ideas and get an honest response from him. So I hope that he comes back and does stuff, and if he doesn't, I'm sure that wherever he ends up, he's going to end up being successful. But personally, selfishly speaking, I had fun working with him and I hope that he gets a chance to come back and sort of, continue adding his two cents to our creative direction."

Bobby Heenan
While he was easily one of the best overall performers during his generation, Tully Blanchard was a bit of a headache backstage. Shortly before he decided to leave WWE, Blanchard ended up failing a drug test because of cocaine, so management had no choice but to fire him. Bobby Heenan had to replace him in the match at Survivor Series 1989.
May 1, 2014
Lance Storm
The boring gimmick that Lance Storm received while working in WWE was actually a little jab at internet wrestling fans. Many viewed him as a guy that was just too boring to be a star. In actuality, though, Storm has a pretty good personality and a sense of humor backstage. WWE went with the gimmick in order to try to something to see if it would give him momentum.
April 13, 2014
Dick Murdoch
When he first made his debut in WWE, there were people who speculated that Trevor Murdoch might have been related to the late Dick Murdoch, a wrestler who made his name during the territorial days. However, there are no bloodlines between the two performers. Someone backstage in WWE simply gave Trevor the name because of his resemblance to Dick.
March 21, 2014
Kevin Von Erich
One of the biggest things that Kevin Von Erich is known for during his long career in professional wrestling is the fact that he wrestled barefoot. He became known all over the world for that. However, it was not an intentional thing. Someone backstage played a prank by hiding his boots before a match, so he ended up going out there without any shoes.
February 27, 2014
Gorilla Monsoon

In professional wrestling, the term "gorilla position" is thrown around backstage in WWE, TNA, ROH and even some independent wrestling promotions. It is used to describe the backstage agent that gives instructions to the performers right before they go through the curtains.

Frankie Kazarian
Prior to teaming with Christopher Daniels under the name, Frankie Kazarian was involved in a tag team called Bad Influence with a wrestler named Josh Galaxy.
October 27, 2013
Randy Orton
For a good period of time there, the belief was that Randy Orton would be the mystery partner for the baby faces in the main event of Survivor Series 2014. There is a chance that might still happen. The former world heavyweight champion is backstage with WWE right now. Management could pull the trigger on a last minute change and have Orton, who was off filming a movie, replace one of the current team members.
November 23, 2014
Roman Reigns
Reports have surfaced that Roman Reigns is backstage at Survivor Series 2014. Some believe that he could be making an appearance during the pay per view. No word yet on what role that will be, but he could play a part in the main event elimination tag team match. Reigns could be utilized to attack Seth Rollins, which would reignite the feud between the two of them that was started before Reigns was sidelined by an injury.
November 23, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Since public relations can cripple a company, WWE decided that it would pay to prevent things from getting worse with the Hispanic audience. As part of the settlement between the two sides, management agreed to pay Alberto Del Rio an undisclosed sum of money. In return, the former world heavyweight champion has promised to no longer saying negative things and implying that racism exists backstage.
November 13, 2014
Joey Styles
After witnessing an interesting exchange on Twitter, it looks like there might be some lingering backstage heat between Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman about the final days of ECW. Dreamer posted an image of Joey Styles and playfully joked about the ECW banner in the background. That set off Heyman, who brought up how he paid his debt and has never avoided answering questions about the demise of the promotions. Styles attempted to soothe the situation over, but Heyman kept going.
November 12, 2014
Rey Mysterio
After months of silence between the two sides, Rey Mysterio and WWE got together recently backstage to discuss the contract situation that has been lingering for a bit. Reports are surfacing that Mysterio essentially told management that he was no longer interested whatsoever in working with the company and wishes to move on to other things. WWE is still hoping that the former world heavyweight champion will change his mind, as they really need the drawing power in Mexico.
November 11, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
It looks the business relationship between Alberto Del Rio and WWE has finally come to a close, as both sides released statements today informing their fans of that. The belief is that a settlement agreement has been made backstage. Del Rio will more than likely never pursue legal action against the company for firing him, while WWE is allowing him to work for any promotion in the world that he wants to.
November 10, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Since his departure from WWE was so abrupt and controversial, many are under the impression that Alberto Del Rio has backstage heat towards Vince McMahon. The former world heavyweight champion actually revealed that he holds no grudges against McMahon. Del Rio stated that his former boss was always professional and courteous towards him. His issues with the company are with others in the front office.
November 10, 2014
Chavo Guerrero
By now, several of you have heard about the new Lucha Underground promotion that was launched in America recently by AAA. Chavo Guerrero reportedly was given a major role backstage, and more details are now surfacing. The former WWE star is actually the one running the show behind the scenes. He is also the liaison for the promotion and the production company that is in charge of things.
November 7, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
For years now, there have been allegations of racism in WWE. Quite a bit more gasoline has been thrown into that fire over the last couple of weeks. Alberto Del Rio, who was fired due to an incident with another employee backstage, is growing more vocal about his claims that the company allows racial comments to be made. Though he is not blaming racism for his failure in the company, Sin Cara has also spoken out and stated that it does create a hostile working environment for minorities in the WWE.
November 6, 2014
Rey Mysterio
As many of you are already aware, Rey Mysterio was backstage last night at Monday Night Raw. He reportedly met with Vince McMahon about his future in WWE and his contract situation. No word yet on how that went, but the masked performer took a flight from Buffalo to San Diego this morning, meaning that he will not be working the Smackdown taping today in New York. He is also unlikely to head to England with the crew tomorrow as well.
November 4, 2014
John Cena
In yet another example of how hard the guy works, John Cena is backstage at the Smackdown taping today. That is noteworthy because he is scheduled to work a live event in London tomorrow. WWE generally calls upon Cena whenever they need to give Smackdown a boost. However, it is strange that they would call on him this week since he is very much needed on that tour of Europe.
November 4, 2014

A resolution could be near for the backstage heat between Rey Mysterio and WWE. Reports have surfaced that the masked performer is going to be backstage at Monday Night Raw in Buffalo tonight. November 3, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
There are speculations floating around that Antonio Cesaro has backstage heat on him from management because of some recent comments that he made in regards to the creative decisions being made by WWE. Some gasoline was thrown into the fire when Cesaro was shockingly defeated in two consecutive matches in a best of three falls match at Hell in a Cell 2014. Some are disputing the rumors, but we shall see how Cesaro is used in the upcoming weeks and months.

The two of them still maintain a close relationship with management.
October 28, 2014
CM Punk
There is some development in the bitter feud between WWE and CM Punk, it seems. October 22, 2014
Adam Pearce
Rumors were floating around that Nick Dinsmore was given a release by WWE because of backstage politics as opposed to budget cost. The former NWA champion has been spotted at the performance center a couple of times already this month.
October 21, 2014
Bully Ray
Now that their contracts with TNA have officially expired, there has been some contact between Team 3D and WWE. The two sides are discussing a potential return to the company. The move may come as a shock to certain fans because there was a widespread belief that Bully Ray and Devon were never going to be able to work in WWE ever again due to backstage heat. That apparently is not the case.
October 17, 2014
Rey Mysterio
While the backstage heat between the two sides remains at a pretty high level, it does not appear that WWE will be giving a release to Rey Mysterio any time soon. Management has started to accept that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to work anytime soon, but they will not let him out of his contract to help another promotion out. WWE would rather just keep him on the sidelines for the time being, especially since Mysterio has reportedly stopped cashing in their checks.
October 15, 2014
Frankie Kazarian
AAA wanted Frankie Kazarian on board when they venture into the United States because he is one of the most talented and most well known free agents in wrestling, but the former TNA star has decided to reject their contract offer.
