Default Booker T to the WWE?

Booker T to the WWE?

It is being reported that TNA star Booker T will likely be finished with TNA after his contract expires which is reportedly sometime in November. The belief right now is that Booker is unhappy with the company, and he also has a lot of backstage heat on him within TNA management because of recent behavior.

Most recently, Booker refused to put over Matt Morgan at the last set of Impact tapings, and he had a meeting just the day before with TNA President Dixie Carter where the two reportedly worked out some of the issues both sides were having with each other. Apparently that meeting did little to no good as Booker went ahead and refused to job to Morgan.

Additionally, Booker's behavior on the last TNA overseas tour was described as "disruptive," and he even refused to work a tag team match with Scott Steiner, as we reported, when the fans began to throw chairs into the ring. Booker was reportedly telling those backstage in TNA that he has plans to return to WWE, and always has that option available which he claims he most likely will exercise.

Concerning the Matt Morgan issue, there is apparently no heat between him and Booker T, it was more a matter of Booker feeling that it was a creative mistake for him to lose to Morgan on TV rather than on a PPV. Additionally, Booker did not inform TNA management about his decision not to job to Morgan until 45 minutes before the Impact taping, which made it very difficult for the creative team to re-write the segment.

Closing Thoughts

It would be quite the loss for TNA. On the brighter side of things, the WWE would benefit from this move. Not sure how well they would be able to utilize him though.

Holy copy and paste, Batman.

Anyway... I'm not a Booker T fan. So, good riddance. TNA will benefit from it in the long run.

The only thing I'm sad about is that he'll probably show up in the WWE. Which'll suck because I dislike him, but also because that basically takes up the spot of some new star who could be raised instead.

You'll have to explain it to me, because it seems like I don't understand. How exactly does TNA benefit from losing a veteran? Someone who is credible and does have the name value needed.

I think if he does got back, his role would be to put over the younger guys like what he has been doing with the MEM in TNA for the last year because he is technically 'too old' to hold a belt in WWE (unless your name is HHH, Batista or a guy gets in trouble with management leaving them no other choice ;D). In terms of Booker leaving TNA being a good thing, yeah they lose a little name rocognition for the time being but thanks to the MEM the roster is strong enough to survive on its own to which TNA would surely put over heavily in their advertisements.

I don't mind him when he's wrestling, just when he's talking. I hate how he gets all worked up and spitting when he cuts a promo, which I also hate about John Cena. I hate his constantly shifiting accents in TNA, and his main accent most of all.

And now, I'm probably killing the thread with all my anti-Booker T-ness. So I'll step out before it comes to the point where people need to ask me to just drop it, like it did in the Shelton Benjamin thread.

Cmon, Les, that's already been answered. Read the whole thread - it's only a page at this point.

So if (or when) Booker leaves, I wonder if TNA would add another member to the MEM. Perhaps Foley? Or should TNA leave the Mafia alone?
