Was going to have Kofi Kingston as breakout star of the year but in my opinion John Morrison broke out before him. (World heavyweight title shot againt CM Punk earlier in the year etc)

Those are some good alternatives to the one I have.

I think you're right in saying Orton will get it this year over Chris Jericho, because Orton's been champion multiple times and won the Rumble and has been main eventing the entire year, while Jericho's been in a tag team for months now.

Starship Pain is a move that the WWE has really made a point to point out. I definitely think it will be on the list of choices for this award. However, I think it is beaten out when you look at how many multicompetitor matches that Kofi has won when he pretty much came out of nowhere and hit Trouble In Paradise.

John Cena giving Orton an Attitude Adjustment on top of HIAC was more of a "Damn!" moment in my opinion, but I don't think they'll award it because Orton and Cena aren't feuding anymore. I think that the WWE is more likely to highlight the guest host by giving this award to John Cena for giving Piven an Attitude Adjustment.

Come to think of it, there will probably be a Best Guest Host award this year. And I think the WWE will probably give it to Shaq.

I wouldn't say that Morrison really broke out this year. In my mind the choices for this category would be Kofi, CM Punk, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes for really shooting up in importance this year. And since Kofi will likely still be going against Orton next month, this award will likely to be given to him, because CM Punk's in trouble and has dropped back down, and Legacy came up as a team but you can't really say that one has shot up over the other.

CM Punk wouldve been a pretty good choice, forgot about him. But as you said he's in trouble atm (for a stupid reason in my opinion). But yeah Kofi Kingston has a VERY good chance of getting the award.

If CM Punk hadn't of got into an icident backstage I expect he wouldve gotten the award.

If CM Punk was still main-eventing then I say give him the breakout star of the year. The OMG moment will probably be when they switched Jeff Hardy and the Undertaker at Summerslam.
