Maybe he is just tired? We all hear stories about how Vince is backstage on some days, just being his son may not be much better either. Maybe he didn't even want to be part of the business to begin with and he was waiting for the right time to leave?

WWE was handed from father to son, and I believe Vince wanted to continue that tradition. Now that Shane has stepped down, I would think Vince would like to keep it run by a family member. It isn't necessarily what will happen, there could be some one we don't have a clue about, but that's what I'm betting on.
There could be several reasons, Shane left. I mean he has every right to leave and move on to something else. I'd be more inclined to believe that he and Stephanie/ Triple H butted heads to much and he felt he didn't want to spend his life dealing with that. Maybe he wasn't spending enough time at home, and his wife/ girlfriend was getting ready to walk out. Maybe it was burnout. Who knows ? It's not like he can't change his mind and come back.

The first rumours have begun...that they've had a huge arguement which has led to Shane Mcmahon yelling at Vince that he has had enough of him...now Shane is getting the 'Randy Savage' treatment backstage...

You think Vince would hold a huge grudge over his own son? I don't know just seems too much like an "Anti-Vince" thought somebody would have.
Guessing Shane was on the road quite a bit, he's got a son if I remember correctly, Kennedy or something similar to that and his wife Marissa must maybe miss him, her WWE job isn't as big as it used to be, I believe she still does some producing work. Or maybe Shane is just completely stressed out

It's not an "anti Vince" thing. Keep in mind that both guys are still human. There have been plenty of fathers and sons who have had fallen out over the years.
