Unfortunately, the WWE apparently doesn't care about Carlito's pushes anymore so he is backstage most of the time, which is ashame. He has talent and it seemed like they had something going with him and Rosa Mendes of course that has since stopped with her move in the Nancy O Dell's diva trade since she moved to ECW. It would be alright to put the Colons back together considering neither one are doing anything relevant at the moment anyway, at least this way another tag team gets reassembled and they are on tv each week. Worst case scenario though is Carlito just waiting until his contract with WWE expires again, then i could see him either jumping to TNA, which more then likely he will be used there or going back to Puerto Rico. Either way, the WWE pretty much dropped the ball on Carlito..again.

I hate the reason "we've got nothing for you." Shows how insanely lazy the creative team is. I know that main eventers draw the money, but it really is a lame excuse when you can come up with a million and one reasons to get guys like Triple H and Randy Orton on screen every week, but you can't scrape together one tiny little feud to get two underused guys like Carlito on screen for a few weeks.
I wish they'd do something with him. I've been a fan of Carlito's since I started watching wrestling and it sucks that they keep promising him stuff and then failing to follow through (or making those promises seem big and huge and then giving him nothing). Teaming back up with Primo and feuding with THD or Cryme Tyme would be great right now, considering those two teams have been feuding over nothing for the past god knows how long because of lack of other teams. Every time I remember to watch WWE Superstars, those two teams are on it and it's tiring. Gotta laugh at that picture though, even Carlito's hair reflects the article lol. |

I've asked this before and now its finally become a big question. Truth be told, WWE considers stars lower than main event "filler" now. Either fluff and entertainment, or just a blank space to fill time in order to pass the time till the main event. Carlito was tredding these waters for a while and now he's sunk in it.

Carlito shud of left WWE when he had the chance!! I do feel for him but he isnt the only one suffering I mean look at Shelton Benjamin! With Jeff Hardy gone, Edge injured, these 2 shud b drafted to Smackdown as it is the "wrestling" show and these 2 are amongst the WWE's Pure athletes and be given the pushes their talent deserves.... but that is just wishful thinking now isnt it? Carlito, once you're current contract expires save your career and go to TNA, im sure they wud give u more of a chance!

From what I heard he is having some backstage issues as well, he is basically just going through the motions similar to how Brian Kendrick and Paul London had done prior to their releases, but ohh well WWE's loss hopefully he stays in the states instead of going back to his Daddy's promotion when he gets released. I was never a big fan however he does have some potential so I'd like to see him in TNA.

I think that it's true that management has not figured out how to use Carlito properly. This is evident in the number of times he's switched from face to heel since 2006. He plays both roles well, but this is no excuse to be using him so infrequently. He should be fighting for the ECW championship right now.
He has main-event potential. |

I would hate to see him go (unless maybe if he went to TNA after leaving). He's been so misused for almost the whole last few years and it's sad to see, especially since I've been a pretty big fan of Carlito since his debut.
And completely agreed with Avery. It really shouldn't be so hard to put him in a few feuds when they have ideas for others (mostly main eventers) on a weekly basis. Right now the Raw roster seems pretty crowded so I'm not sure how much hope is left for him. If he does finally leave, then he will be missed by me and his career with the WWE could have been so much better. I remember thinking that things were looking pretty good for him (first of all in his debut) and then to a lesser extent later on in his career when he was with Masters, then Flair, too. Thought things may have been able to turn around for him but it never did. He had a good chance of being pushed (or at least remaining relevant) from either of those times after they had screwed up/stopped that push from his debut. But others were usually given the spot ahead of him.
