Old doesn't mean Not as Good

The thing that really annoys me at the moment is with all the incredible graphics updates over the years, more and more stup...I mean inexperienced gamers just past up anything that's in 2D.

Let's look at some of these "crap" 2D games:

Metal Slug: 100% Gameplay
LocoRoco: 100% Handheld brilliance
LittleBigPlanet: Most important video game release since Grand Theft Auto III
Street Fighter: 2D Fighters are just better, and all the "3D" are essentially 2D games on a revolving plane.

I may actually write something about this over half term

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has got to be up there for me. Such a shame the series was discontinued.

Guardian's Crusade
Spyro 2
Crash Bandicoot 2 and 3
Super Mario 3 for Super Nintendo
Pokemon Red, Yellow, Silver and Crystal
Sonic on the SEGA

And I don't remember what it's called but my friends used to have a game for the Nintendo where you picked a character and just roller skated down a hill. It was actually really challenging and bucketloads of fun. And some other game which I should look up, where you could team up with a friend and play co-op as two little guys and just fight everything.

Pretty much any game that Bethesda gets involved with turns out ace.

I'm also pretty sure it wasn't discontinued. Bethesda said not to expect it in the near future, but that doesn't mean it will never come out.

Well that's good then. I rang all the game stores in Adelaide asking about it (for Christmas last year) and they said they had no copies left because the game had been discontinued. Oh well, I suppose being wrong in this instance is a good thing.
