![]() Chavo Guerrero Sr Bashes Vickie Guerrero The family feud between Vickie Guerrero and Eddie Guerrero's family apparently still is going strong. During a recent interview with Chavo Sr, the man formerly known as Chavo Classic in WWE discussed his former sister-in-law. Through his words, it was easy to tell that there is still some friction from some of the family members towards the former General Manager of Smackdown. In the interview, he states that Vickie has remained secluded from the family. She does not maintain constant communication with Eddie's family. This has been going on for quite some time now. Also, in the interview, Chavo Sr stated that he does not believe that Vickie will be able to succeed as a manager in WWE. Vickie recently returned to the company as a manager for developmental wrestler Eric Escobar after taking the summer off to be with her daughters. Closing Thoughts Everyone has family issues, so this isn't a shock or anything. Was really hoping that they would have moved on by now, though. The comments prove that there's still friction there. Also, Vickie surprised everyone by doing rather well as a general manager, so I'll give her a chance as a manager before judging.

I actually like Vickie Guerrero in WWE. She does a very good job at playing the heel and drawing heel heat. I know that she is just playing a character but she does a lot better job in the acting department than most of the rosters in WWE. Do you know Admin if Vickie has had any acting experience or formal acting training?

Thing about in-laws and such is that you never really know where you stand until death or divorce. Unfortunately Vickie's having to find out through the worst way.

Is she on sour terms with Chavo Jr. though? Doesn't really seem like it and at least he is someone from that family sticking up for her.

Sounds kind of weird to me. Why can't she be secluded? Why is he breathing down her neck all of a sudden, just because she doesn't stay in touch?

Perhaps because part of the friction is drawn from the last name...if you get my drift.
Shes acting secluded; granted she was legally married to Eddie, thus the name Guerrero is hers, but I know of cases where the widow remains close to the family because of the history between one another. I also know of widows who go back to their maiden names, perhaps that is what Chavo and the others would prefer. Kind of like "if you aren't going to talk and deal with us, then you aren't one of us." Then again the character she portrays on TV and using the Guerrero name in that whole Edge storyline did make things hard to accept in Eddie's Family. Basically you could feel for and side with Vickie, and you could also side with the Actual Guerreros. No one really knows whats going on between both camps since the only info we seem to "legit" get is from one another in interviews.

I can understand where both sides are coming from. I mean Vickie has a family to support and is doing her best to take care of her daughters.
On the Guerrero's side, it's hard to watch a member of your family pass on so unexpectedly and then see his wife making out on tv with some one else so soon after his death. The other thing is a usual occurence, a woman will involve her side of the family in the lives of her children and deny access (or limit it) to their father's side. You see it in divorce or single part families all the time. It's completely wrong but it does happen. |

I think if this is the reason why the Guerro's are annoyed at her (or even part of the reason) I think it's pretty stupid on their part. When she was making out with someone on tv its because she's acting. She's doing her job. And without wanting to force my views on people, i believe this is the way it should be looked at with anyone - be it if their partner has passed away or not.

This isn't something that happened all of a sudden. It has been going for months now.
