Ron Killings and Chris Harris To Be Called Up

All I want is for them to really Push Killings hard to see if he can do it in the WWE this time around. I thought that he was not ready his last time around, but he has such a following now and his singalong factor is a 10. I'd go as far as to say that if he is called up on the ECW roster, he would eclipse matt hardy as top face if he is to be used as a face.

Cynthia Rodriguez files for divorce; cheating primary reason.

Alex Rodriguez’s wife filed for divorce Monday, calling her husband an adulterer who “emotionally abandoned his wife and children.”

“The marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken because of the husband’s extramarital affairs and other marital misconduct,” according to Cynthia Rodriguez’s petition for dissolution of marriage, filed in the family division of Miami-Dade County Circuit Court.

The New York Yankees third baseman, who earned his 12th All-Star selection Sunday, has refused to comment on his relationship with Madonna, who denied any romantic involvement with the slugger in a statement posted Sunday on people.com.

“The petitioner has exhausted every effort to salvage the marriage of the parties,” Cynthia Rodriguez said in the filing. “However, Alex has emotionally abandoned his wife and children and has left her with no choice but to divorce him.”

Rodriguez’s attorney in Miami, Ira M. Elegant, said he had not reviewed the divorce petition but added: “As you know, anyone can pay the filing fee and make allegations.”

Elegant also represents NBA star Shaquille O’Neal in his ongoing divorce from his wife, Shaunie.

A telephone message left for a Rodriguez spokesman Monday was not immediately returned.

The couple, who married in November 2002, have a $12 million, six-bedroom house in the upscale Miami suburb of Coral Gables. A company run by a corporation controlled by Rodriguez bought an apartment at Trump Park Avenue in Manhattan for $7.4 million in July 2005.

Cynthia Rodriguez has asked for primary custody of their two children, as well as child support and alimony.

Their two daughters are Natasha Alexander, 3, and 2-month-old Ella Alexander.

The filing comes just days after the third baseman was linked to Madonna in various media outlets. Cynthia Rodriguez later visited the Paris home of rocker Lenny Kravitz, who said she came to France to escape the media frenzy in New York and denied anything improper.

Cynthia Rodriguez’s lawyer, Maurice Kutner, declined to elaborate on the filing, which does not mention Madonna or any other alleged paramours by name.

“Cynthia has made it very clear to me that she wants to take the high road and protect her children and herself. There’s no vindictiveness here,” Kutner said. “She wants to resolve the issues between Alex and herself in an amicable fashion.”

The couple has had prenuptial agreement in place since Oct. 3, 2002, according to the divorce papers.

The divorce petition was filed the day after Rodriguez hit his 536th homer, tying Yankees Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle for 13th place.

TNA Knockout Breaks Leg

One TNA Knockout is going to be out of action for a very long time.

According to various eyewitness accounts online, new TNA Knockout Mickie "Moose" Knuckles reportedly broke her leg after diving off a high platform at the IWA Mid-South presents Summertime Black & Blues indy show in Joliet, Illinois earlier tonight.

A wrestler dove off a high platform earlier in the show, said to be former WWE developmental Robert Anthony under his masked "Egotistico Fantastico" gimmick. Knuckles didn't want to do the same exact spot, so she went on an even higher platform near the announcing area. According to Ed Chuman, who is the promoter for NWA Midwest Wrestling, Knuckles took a jump from a high platform and came down with all of her weight on one leg. Sara Del Ray, her opponent for the match, tried to catch her, but was unable to latch on to the free-falling 185-pound women's wrestler. Chuman compared the injury to Sid Vicious' severe leg fracture at a WCW event in January 2001, but in her case, the leg snap was above the knee.

Here is what Chuman posted on the ChicagoProWrestling.com message board regarding Knuckles' incident earlier tonight:

I just got a call from some of the boys at Ian's show tonight. They said Mickie broke her leg doing a dive. From what I understand she landed on one leg with all her weight & it snapped like Sid's did back in WCW, but above the knee. This is a very sad thing too have happen to her especially with her work in TNA at present. I'll I can say is how sorry I am to hear this, and wish her the best in her recovery.

It seems that someone else did a dive, and Mickie didn't want to do the same dive, and decided to dive off some balcony, or higher position. Sara tried to catch her, but as stated before she came down on 1 leg, and that was that. I've now heard from Joey, Jason Dukes, Sara through Kong who already heard all the way in Tampa.

Another message board poster said that Knuckles ended up breaking her femur, which is the thigh bone.

The IWA-MS show was immediately canceled and an ambulance was called to tend to Knuckles.

One person in attendance said on the message board, "I was there and it was really bad to watch. As soon as it happened you just saw everyone get up and they waved Ian over right away and he made them cut the cameras too."

Knuckles was expected to sign a contract with TNA, but it is unknown if she actually signed the deal as there is a lot hearsay going around regarding the finality of the matter. She was originally brought into the company a few weeks ago as a bodyguard type for "The Beautiful People" after former WWE Women's Champion Jazz declined the role due to pregnancy. Knuckles was in the midst of strong push in TNA, having won matches on the past two editions of Impact.

Ouch.

I dont want to put the EA Sports Madden jinx on these TNA stars but wow. So many of them are catching injuries, though most of the more serious ones are while they're out on the indy scene. Hopefully she is able to recover if this in fact, that serious.

Didnt Judas hurt himself diving off some ladder down in AAA?

It sounds really serious, and it would really be a shame if she didn't get an official contract with TNA. She wouldn't get anything... while TNA would walk off with the better part of the deal.

Actually she did sign the contract. Sucks for Mickie. I really wanted to see more hardcore Bimbo Brawls.
