Angle vs Lesnar at Wrestlemania

Rumors have surfaced that there are those within WWE that are pushing management to set up a huge match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. The former is set to be a free agent soon and has already stated that he is not in a rush to return to TNA. The latter needs a top level opponent to work against because his feud with the Undertaker has ran its course.

As some of you may already know by now, the producers of Total Divas actually have a say in what takes place on Monday Night Raw because WWE wants to maintain a good working relationship there. There are reports floating around that Dolph Ziggler and John Cena could soon start feuding with one another. On the reality television show, Ziggler is trying to steal Nikki Bella back from Cena.

During a recent interview, Diamond Dallas Page was asked about a potential comeback to WWE. He stated that he has not closed the door on that, but it would have to be something very special, something of interest to him. DDP stated that if he were allowed to come back and feud with Randy Orton over their finishing move,then he would seriously have to consider that.

One of the topics that gets discussed during the stand up shows that Mick Foley does is his highly memorable feud with Terry Funk in WWE. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he and Funk came pretty close one time to convincing Vince McMahon to let them do an exploding barbed wire match at a remote location and have it be featured on one of the pay per view events. McMahon obviously changed his mind.

Since a lot of fans can only see wins and losses, Kevin Owens decided to voice his opinion and defend his feud with John Cena. He stated that losing to Cena is not a bad thing. The feud did not hurt him. Owens also stated that true fans would just matches based on the overall performance instead of just focusing on who received the victory. He is very grateful to Cena for helping him build his name.

Samoa Joe challenging Balor

Rumors have it that one of the ideas being floated around backstage in WWE is for Samoa Joe and Finn Balor to successfully win the Dusty Rhodes memorial tournament. That would then lead to Joe somehow challenging Balor for the NXT Championship in a friendly feud. That particular match would more than likely be the biggest draw for the developmental promotion at this point in time.

During his latest podcast interview show, Ric Flair revealed that the reason why he never got to work a big Wrestlemania match against Hulk Hogan was because the latter was having issues with Vince McMahon. Hogan wanted to venture off into Hollywood, but McMahon did not want to lose his biggest star. McMahon then opted to not give Hogan the big money feud with Flair.

The real life feud between Jim Cornette and the Young Bucks rages on. The legendary manager took a jab at the brothers for selling to an eight year old kid by stating that it makes sense because their fans have the intelligence of young children. Cornette also mocked the Bucks by stating that if they were good, they would not have to fly all the way to Japan to find work.

Originally, the plan by WWE was to have Miz team up with Stardust to take on Stephen Amell and Adrian Neville. However, management had to change up those plans when Ryback was injured and the feud including Big Show was stalled. A replacement was needed, so they decided on Wade Barrett, who really did not have an important program to work, despite being King of the Ring.

Here is a real life feud that you never expected would happen. Jim Duggan recently did a podcast interview, and he revealed that Brock Lesnar is really unsafe in the ring. Duggan stated that Lesnar does not care about the people that he works with, so he has no concerns about their safety. Lesnar is unlikely to respond publicly to the comments, but he definitely will not be happy upon hearing the accusation.
