As many of you have already seen, WWE has given a push to Fandango that started with a face turn and a split from Rosa Mendes. He has also been given a couple of victories on television to build momentum. Unfortunately, though, this push will not lead him to anywhere near the main event scene. Management is basically just pushing him to give the fans something to pop for in the mid card. That is why he was given his catchy theme song back.

While it is a thing of beauty to behold, the flying leg drop that Fandango has been using as a finisher is causing some concerns backstage in WWE. Many feel that his body is taking a lot of damage by performing that move several nights a week. Rumors have it that officials are trying to come up with a new finishing move for the dancing star. He used a sit out suplex slam back when he was performing under the name of Johnny Curtis.

Since WWE wants to see if they can get something out of Fandango, the creative department decided to do a face turn for him. Management will more than likely now give him a feud against a lower level heel that he can beat. It would be someone like Bo Dallas or Adam Rose.

In an ugly and hopefully isolated scene last night after the Royal Rumble, a couple of fans attempted to attack WWE stars as they were trying to make their way out of the arena. A fan used a souvenir steel chair to hit the car that Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso were riding in. Another fan set up a chair directly in front of the vehicle that Fandango was traveling in, so they could not move forward right away. He also did the same thing to JBL.
