Earlier in the month, rumors surfaced that WWE was going to put the Intercontinental Championship on Daniel Bryan so that he could headline the live events with it. However, Bryan has much bigger plans than that. He noted that his friend Shinsuke Nakamura managed to headline a New Japan show with their version of the IC belt. The IWGP World Heavyweight worked the under card. Bryan wants to do something similar if he wins the belt.

Generally, WWE stars who are paired up for matches with one another at Wrestlemania start practicing on their routine together at the various live events during the previous week. When you're doing a match with Sting and Triple H, however, you cannot afford to give that away for free. Thus, the two legendary performers decided to work things out at the performance center in Orlando. HHH is expected to call the match in the ring.

A couple of fans that have been attending Wrestlemania related events this week have noticed a familiar face. Linda McMahon is in town for the big pay per view. She was spotted hanging out and catching up with the Big Show. Linda also posted a couple of photos on social media. It is highly unlikely that she makes an appearance during the show on Sunday. For what it's worth, there are still no signs of Shane McMahon this week.

Even though the two of them have managed to create a little bit of a buzz on the internet, do not expect WWE to push Zack Ryder and Adam Rose or their feud any time soon. At most, they will get a brief segment with one another during the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal. They even be allowed to do a match on Monday Night Raw. There is very little chance that Rose and Ryder will be given a spot on any of the upcoming pay per view events.

While a lot of WWE fans are overjoyed right now about the Brock Lesnar news, they are about to be brought back down to earth for a bit when they realize that the new contract means that John Cena has a better chance of winning the United States Heavyweight Championship from Rusev at Wrestlemania. Back in February, it was confirmed that GFW would be based in Las Vegas. Now, it looks like Jeff Jarrett has finalized the deal because he has started to do official promotion for it. While not a lot of details have been released, Jarrett has informed us that it will definitely be taking place this summer. No confirmation yet on a television deal, but the belief is that Global Force Wrestling can help further the cause by doing live events at least.

Speculations arose this week when fans noticed that Layla El was representing WWE at a Special Olympics event. That made some believe that the longtime diva was back on the road with the company. There is a chance that the front office is asking for all available performers to be on hand during the hectic Wrestlemania week. There has been no confirmation on a television return or on a return to the live events tour.

There are talks coming out of WWE right now that if Brock Lesnar were to sign a new contract to remain with the company, then he would be rewarded with a victory over Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania. He would still be allowed to work the limited schedule that he has been on while continuing to carry the heavyweight championship. Management would then put the IC and US belt on Daniel Bryan and John Cena respectively so they can headline live events.

With the rapid sales of tickets to events in Ohio and California, WWE is going full sail with their plans to take NXT across the country. Management has reached out to a couple of people to gauge their interest in being the live events executive. The person would be in charge of booking venues and arranging for travel. Thus far, Triple H has yet to find anyone to fill the position, but the belief is that someone will take them up on the offer.

At a live event in Milwaukee over the weekend, Brad Maddox made his return to WWE. Often times, management likes to test things out at these events to gauge what the audience reaction would be before doing it on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown. Based on the lackluster reaction and the poor quality of the match, the front office has much to work on before doing the Maddox return on television.
