Rumors have surfaced that we could be seeing the Wyatt Family reunion take place at Payback tonight. WWE set up the story with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan over the last couple of weeks. Neither guy has a match on the pay per view, so this could be how they get utilized. A reunion would give Bray Wyatt more momentum, especially since fans have been wanting the trio back together. It also protects Ryback, who will likely take the loss tonight.

The idea being Erick Rowan being fired is because WWE wants fans to believe that he's an important character in the stories. Lower level characters are rarely in danger of being in these types of predicaments. Rowan is still scheduled to work the Royal Rumble, so some sort of resolution should come for his character in the near future. Management has lost a little bit of faith in him, but they want to keep the push going for a bit.

One of the names being tossed around right now is Big Show, whose match with Erick Rowan was not rated too high by the fans. The former world heavyweight champion has enough backstage stroke to not get fired for protesting.
