Wyatt Family reuniting

On the latest episode of Smackdown, Bray Wyatt had a moment with Erick Rowan after winning the match. That has led to speculations from within the internet wrestling community about a possible Wyatt Family reunion. That is actually an idea that has been discussed, as the front office feels that Rowan has not been able to connect with the audience whatsoever. Luke Harper has a little connection, but it's not enough to take him to the top of WWE.

Luke Harper without beard

Rumors have surfaced that there was a point in time where WWE considered the possibility of having Luke Harper be without his beard. It was most likely around the time where the creative department decided to split him apart from Bray Wyatt and Erick Rowan. Fortunately, the front office opted to not do the drastic gimmick change because it would have totally changed his character. A change in the future is still a possibility.

Erick Rowan IQ

WWE was really hoping that they ha stumbled upon a good idea when they started promoting the fact that Erick Rowan had a high IQ. The hope was that it would help him connect more with the audience if they didn't think of him as just being a drone for Bray Wyatt. Unfortunately, though, that has done little for the character, as much of the audience remains lackadaisical towards Rowan. Management might need to tweak up his character more.

Erick Rowan heel turn

There is a very good chance now that Erick Rowan might be going back to the dark side very soon. Since the creative department is unable to come up with a standalone story line for the guy, there are talks that WWE could pull out a heel turn for Rowan. The belief is that he could be paired back up against with Luke Harper, another performer that is neglected by the writers. They would be utilized to provide tremendous depth to the tag team division.

Authority vs Ziggler, Rowan and Ryback

In the opening match of Fast Lane, Seth Rollins, Kane and Big Show were able to successfully get the win over Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan. Ziggler was caught up with the Big Red Machine in the corner when Show came flying from the floor with the knockout punch. WWE might have made a mistake in going with this match to start the show because the audience started dying out in parts. The Authority assaulted the baby faces afterwards.

Erick Rowan at Wrestlemania

While a main event push does not appear to be in the works for him any time soon, Erick Rowan is receiving serious considerations for a highly coveted spot at Wrestlemania. It is all just a matter of management being able to come up with something for him that will interest the fans. It is believed that a potential match against Kane has been discussed backstage. The Authority story line would be utilized as the basis of the feud and the match.

Erick Rowan fired

The idea being Erick Rowan being fired is because WWE wants fans to believe that he's an important character in the stories. Lower level characters are rarely in danger of being in these types of predicaments. Rowan is still scheduled to work the Royal Rumble, so some sort of resolution should come for his character in the near future. Management has lost a little bit of faith in him, but they want to keep the push going for a bit.

Erick Rowan push

As soon as WWE split up the Wyatt Family, the widespread belief was that they wanted to give Erick Rowan and Luke Harper a push that was outside of the outstretched shadows of Bray Wyatt. It now looks like Rowan might be the first one of the trio to lose that push, as management is said to be a bit concerned about how lackluster the audience has react to his new character. The feud with Big Show did very little to add momentum to Rowan.

Big Show doing silent protest

When word broke out that a couple of WWE performers were doing silent protests during TLC against management by working at a lackluster pace, fans immediately started wondering which wrestlers were guilty of doing that. One of the names being tossed around right now is Big Show, whose match with Erick Rowan was not rated too high by the fans. The former world heavyweight champion has enough backstage stroke to not get fired for protesting.
