For the longest time now, the internet wrestling community have blamed Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo for the awkward and short lived heel turn that Goldberg did in WCW back in 2000. The former world heavyweight champion has now explained that the reason behind that was because he asked to do a face turn again. The motive behind that was because he came backstage and saw a young Make-A-Wish girl crying at his on screen antics.

Apparently, there have been some legal issues between TNA and the production company that Eric Bischoff owns. The latter filed a lawsuit on May 15, 2015 that states that the former did not make good on a contract that the two sides signed. Bischoff is claiming that the company owes he and his partner $114,000, even though they did not do production work for the promotion during that three month span. Lawyers will need to sort out the verbiage.

There is a little backstage heat on Alundra Blayze because of her induction speech at the hall of fame. WWE is said to be upset with her because she used adult language, which forces the company to censor the version that they show to the younger audience. Management is also upset with her because she put over Eric Bischoff, who is still considered the enemy even though he spent a good amount of time working for the promotion.

When asked about why Aces and Eights died down, Devon mentioned that a big reason for their demise was because the creator of the stable was no longer allowed to provide feedback in the creative department. While he refused to mention the name of the person that came up with the idea, the longstanding belief was that it was Eric Bischoff. Not coincidentally, TNA removed Bischoff from the creative department around that point in time.

During a recent interview with Jason Hervey, some details were revealed about the time that Eric Bischoff tried to purchase WCW. Contrary to popular beliefs, Vince McMahon did not end up buying the rights to the promotion because he won a bidding war. McMahon simply ended up with the deal because Bischoff and Fusient Media backed off once the network stated there would be no time slot for wrestling. Bischoff had investors already lined up.

When asked about WCW, Bret Hart had some unkind words towards Eric Bischoff. The man, who has claimed that he has learned to let go of negative things during his wrestling career, stated that the company was run by a bunch of idiots. He specifically stated that Bischoff lied to him about every single thing. Hart feels that Bischoff screwed up big time because he did not use him as the centerpiece and top star of the promotion.
