During a recent interview, he revealed that one of his biggest regrets while being the top executive in WCW was that he did not listen to Chris Jericho enough. Bischoff stated that Jericho had a lot of great ideas at the time for his character, but he was too stubborn to listen to them, which led to Jericho leaving for WWE.

He stated that Vince McMahon once had to hop on his private jet and fly to a live event because members of the Kliq refused to lose their matches for the evening. The booking team were not able to resolve the situation, so the SEO had no choice but to go out there himself.

While some fans are emotionally acting out against WWE for being so quick to fire Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, who happens to be a good friend of Hogan, defended Vince McMahon for his decision. He mentioned that a publicly traded company has to be sensitive towards their fans, investors, advertisers, board members, mainstream media and others. It was a necessary move to make.

The former world heavyweight champion has now explained that the reason behind that was because he asked to do a face turn again. The motive behind that was because he came backstage and saw a young Make-A-Wish girl crying at his on screen antics.

Apparently, there have been some legal issues between TNA and the production company that Eric Bischoff owns. The latter filed a lawsuit on May 15, 2015 that states that the former did not make good on a contract that the two sides signed. Bischoff is claiming that the company owes he and his partner $114,000, even though they did not do production work for the promotion during that three month span. Lawyers will need to sort out the verbiage.

While Jeff Jarrett already had enough credibility and support in the industry, his pursuit of Eric Bischoff is going to increase the value of GFW. Together, they will be able to attract more of the top free agents to join their roster. Rumors were already floating around that guys like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian were already interested, but the addition of Bischoff might make them more inclined to sign a contract with a new company.

Considering their combined resumes, this is a major step forward.
