Since WWE changed up the plans and decided to put Extreme Rules 2014 in Seattle, it appears that the company is looking to build the pay per view event around Daniel Bryan, as management feels that he should be able to draw a massive reaction from his home crowd.
While he is willing to return for the period between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania, Rob Van Dam is said to be unwilling to stick around with WWE until Extreme Rules. Management wants the former ECW star for the show, but it goes beyond the three month period that he wants to work.
Two of the hottest developmental performers in WWE are Emma and Paige, both of whom are expected to be a part of the main roster in 2014. The company is planning on featuring them heavily on the special WWE NXT live event that will be shown on the WWE Network.
While the backstage heat on Ric Flair has subsided tremendously, Ashley Flair remains in developmental and should be there for a little while longer, as WWE is now focused on elevating Paige and Emma to the main roster.
Emma is the latest NXT developmental diva to be called up to the main WWE roster. She was briefly featured on Monday Night Raw this week and mentioned by JBL on commentary. Emma is expected to be on the show again next week.
It looks like Emma has now emerged as a strong candidate to be the next NXT developmental diva to be called up to the main roster by WWE. She worked the live event tour this week. Emma teamed with Natalya to defeat AJ Lee and Tamina Snuka.
NXT star Emma has improved her chances of being called up to the main WWE roster. Officials are said to be quite pleased with her performance against Natalya Neidhart recently.
