One of the reasons why Elijah Burke has not already made his in ring return to TNA is because he has scored himself a role in an upcoming television series called Realms, which will make its debut on October 15. The series has a horror and science fiction theme to it. Burke recently reiterated publicly that he fully intends to wrestle once again if his schedule clears up.

A lot of speculation came about when Elijah Burke returned to TNA and did commentary. Many wanted to know if he would be wrestling again. Rumors have surfaced that he will indeed be heading back to the ring as an active performer. The feeling is that they are going to slowly build up a program for Burke with Robbie E. Management is working with Burke to figure out if he could find time to performer with his hectic schedule.

Earlier in the year, Elijah Burke revealed that he had been in communication with Triple H in regards to a WWE return. However, it now appears that he will be returning to TNA instead. Burke is slated to make an appearance during an episode of Impact Wrestling later on this month. It is being said that he will be doing commentary with Josh Mathews. NO word yet on whether or not that will be his full time role, but do not rule out an in ring return.

He even teased it publicly on social media. Burke left the company more than two years ago and has remained active on the independent wrestling circuit. Despite being one of the best talkers in the business, WWE showed no interest in bringing him back on board.
