Beth Phoenix avoiding WWE

There are rumors floating around right now that Beth Phoenix has been avoiding WWE, which has fueled speculation that there is some sort of backstage heat between the two sides. In reality, though, there is no tension. Beth simply has opted to move to the next chapter in her life and focus on raising a child with Edge. She even paid a visit to see Natalya a couple of years ago when Monday Night Raw was in Toronto.

Wade Barrett

Daniel Bryan availability

In a rather stunning move, WWE has publicly acknowledged the heath condition of Daniel Bryan. Michael Cole and JBL mentioned on Monday Night Raw that the Intercontinental Champion might not be able to defend his title against Wade Barrett at Extreme Rules. Management is having him undergo medical testing this week because they still would love to have him on the card. A replacement match is being discussed in case Bryan cannot work.

Summer Rae

Summer Rae naked photos

Despite not being pushed as much by WWE, Summer Rae remains one of the more popular divas in the company. That means that she is also one of the more searched terms, especially when Monday Night Raw and Smackdown is on the air. Thousands of searches are being done per week to see if Summer has any naked photos online. To the best of anyone's knowledge, the blonde haired beauty has never posed completely nude.

Lance Storm

Lance Storm backstage heat

For those of you looking for thorough insights into the industry, a great source of knowledge can come from social media comments that Lance Storm makes during Monday Night Raw. While he is not afraid to point out the negative things about WWE, both from the perspective of a fan and a former worker, there is said to be little to no backstage heat on him from management, as they feel that he is not being malicious in intent.

Edge returning

During a recent podcast interview with Taz, Edge revealed some details about his return to WWE. He feels that he should not make more than one appearance a year, so that his return would feel special. He also does not want to make a comeback, unless it was something that helped out the younger talent. The former world heavyweight champion also stated that he felt that his segment on Monday Night Raw went on too long.

John Cena

Randy Orton pulled

As soon as he made his return to WWE at the live events over the weekend, the belief was that Randy Orton was going to make an appearance on Monday Night Raw this week. There were actually plans in the works for that to happen, but management decided to pull the angle because they came up with a better story involving Edge, Seth Rollins and John Cena, which resulted in the return of The Authority. Orton showed up after the cameras went dark.

The Authority

The Authority returns to WWE

Those of you that watched the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, saw the return of The Authority at the end of the evening. It was a plot concocted by Seth Rollins, where the heels threatened to permanently paralyze Edge if John Cena did not agree to bring Triple H and Stephanie McMahon back into power. It worked, as Cena finally caved in. The plan was to bring the stable back all along. WWE just needed to wait until the right moment to pull the trigger.

Daniel Bryan at Royal Rumble

In a nice little swerve on Monday Night Raw, Daniel Bryan convinced WWE fans that he might be retiring as an in ring performer, thanks in part to a simple social media message, before delightfully surprising the audience with the announcement that he would be making his return at the Royal Rumble. There had been legitimate concerns backstage over his health, as many were under the belief that he would walk away like Edge did to ensure his long term health.

Edge and Christian on Raw

WWE is hoping to give their fans a nice little holiday treat before the year ends. The company has decided to bring Edge and Christian on the final episode of Monday Night Raw. No word yet on what the two of them will be doing or what they will be promoting, but the former world tag team champions were recently on an episode of Haven together. Neither guy is likely to ever wrestle for the company again, but management likes keeping them around.
