A legendary performer that actually knew him and worked with him, however, has a different point of views. Stan Hansen acknowledges that he hears the criticism towards Luger. The Bad Man From Borger felt that Luger was a good worker in the ring. He also stated that he never encountered any attitude problems backstage.

Whenever you spend more than a decade on the road with WWE, you're going to be putting your body through a whole lot of damage, regardless of how well trained you are. Edge knows that really well. In addition to being forced to retire from the business that he loves due to severe damage to his neck, the former world heavyweight champion recently also underwent surgery to repair his hand, which was damaged by years of wrestling.

Earlier this week, Jake Roberts was a guest on the podcast show that Steve Austin does weekly. One of his comments might gain him some backstage heat with Triple H. Roberts vented on the show and stated that a heel using a sledgehammer as a weapon is a bad idea. The WWE legend states that doing so shows a lack of ring psychology, something that HHH takes a lot of pride in having.

While he acknowledged that he does have a tendency to change his answer because there are just so many wrestlers that he admired as a kid, he listed Terry Funk. That makes a lot of sense because Ambrose was inspired by the hardcore style that he eventually started using on the independent wrestling circuit to build up his name.

After years of living on the edge, Jake Roberts warmed the hearts of professional wrestling fans when he was able to finally quit alcohol and drugs. He has been feeling a lot better since doing that. Life has gotten back on track. Now, the WWE legend wants to get rid of yet another one of his vices. Through social media, he informed his fans that he is going to try to stop smoking cigarettes.

Since she is now working full time on the main roster, the popular belief is that Sasha Banks will be dropping the NXT Divas Championship this upcoming weekend at the Takeover event in Brooklyn. She claims otherwise. Sasha acknowledged that people have been predicting a title loss for her, but she denied it by saying that there are bigger plans in the works by WWE that fans are not privy to at the moment.

Lesnar praises McMahon

During an interview session to promote Summerslam, Brock Lesnar told ESPN that he felt that Vince McMahon was better than Dana White. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion acknowledged that the statement might bother White a little, but it is true. Lesnar also did not have too much of a problem with White saying that wrestling was fake because it is really scripted.

Haven gets canceled

As some of you already know, Edge has been starring in a television show called Haven for the past couple of years. It looks like he is going to have a bit more free time now, as SyFy opted not to renew the series after five seasons. Fear now, however, as the former WWE star has found work on an independent film. Adam Copeland should be able to rebound from this setback just fine.

Most PPV wins in WWE

A very interesting list was released by WWE this week. It ranked the performers with the most victories on pay per view events. Undertaker was the top guy with 91 victories. John Cena was right behind him at 85, which should provide even further fuel for his critics. Triple H, Kane and Edge rounded out the top five with 80, 63 and 59 victories respectively.

Things were pretty tense there for a while between Edge and Matt Hardy. They usually are when one friend starts an affair with the girlfriend of the other friend. Nowadays, the two of them get along just fine. Hardy recently congratulated Adam Copeland on landing a role on the Flash television show. In return, Copeland congratulated Hardy on the new baby.
