The former ECW World Heavyweight Champion received a ton of criticism through social media. To his credit, Taz opted not to hide from them. Instead, he responded to many of the people who were bashing him for his opinions.

During his latest podcast show, Taz shocked the world when he stated that the fight between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm was fixed. The former ECW star feels that UFC is purposely setting things up because Rousey was going to be taking some time away from the sport. Ronda is scheduled to film a movie soon. Taz thinks that Dana White opted to do this to set up a huge moneymaking rematch.

Rhyno a Cena fan

During a recent podcast interview, Rhyno revealed that he has pitched a very interesting idea for a character to WWE. He wants to portray a person that is the biggest John Cena fan in the world. The character would constantly asks for autographs and be offended when Cena does not pay him enough attention. No word yet if management is interested in the idea, so it appears that the former ECW star is still stuck in NXT.

During a question and answer session with the fans, Bubba Ray was asked which promotion allowed him to do his best promo work. The former world heavyweight champion stated that Paul Heyman allowed him a lot of freedom when he was working in ECW. The New York native also stated that he really enjoyed the segments that he did when he worked as the Bully Ray character in TNA.

Long regarded as the heart and soul of the legendary Four Horsemen stable, Arn Anderson is a beloved performer, despite being a heel for most of his career. He turns 57 years old today. A couple of other wrestlers are celebrating their birthdays today as well. Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Greg Valentine turns 64. Tony Garea is now 69. ECW legend Joel Gertner is now 40.

Tajiri to House of Hardcore

When it comes to putting together a good card, you have to hand it to Tommy Dreamer. Guy knows how to make it happen. House of Hardcore is doing a couple of shows in November, one at the ECW Arena in Philadelphia and one in New York. To generate further interest into those events, Dreamer has enlisted the help of his good friend, Tajiri. He will be coming over from Japan to work a pair of matches.

Sabu responds to rumors

Earlier in the month, an independent wrestling promoter accused Sabu of destroying a hotel room while using drugs in there. Not wanting his reputation and ability to be hired be ruined, the ECW legend has decided to respond. He said that the blood in the hotel room were because of injuries that he suffered during the match. He also stated that his dog made a bit of a mess. He denied using any drugs in that hotel room.

Sabu being black listed

Some disturbing news on Sabu have surfaced today. Apparently, he left a hotel room in really awful conditions. An employee of the hotel gave details to the wrestling promoter that had brought the ECW legend to town for a show. It is being said that there dog feces all over the floor and walls. The hotel staff also found drugs and syringes. The promoter is warning other independent wrestling promoters.

Heyman sneaks into NWA meeting

Fox Sports interviewed Paul Heyman, and he decided to share a great story about himself and Dusty Rhodes. When the ECW founder was just 18 years old, he once sneaked into an NWA production meeting. Upon being caught by Rhodes, Heyman revealed to him that he was simply there to learn. Rhodes admired that and allowed Heyman to stick around.
