Since he has a history of partying and the company does not want rumors to run wild with internet fans, WWE has released an official statement in regards to why Ric Flair was recently forced to miss some live events. They stated that he was hospitalized and will be back with the company soon. WWE had issues with the former world heavyweight champion at a public event involving their upcoming WWE 2K15 video game a while back.

Some further information is being leaked about the situation that caused Alberto Del Rio to be given a release by WWE. Cody Barbierri, the employee that was allegedly slapped by Del Rio, apparently has a history of saying derogatory things towards the wrestlers. Reports are surfacing that he has gotten away with things in the past because he is backed by Stephanie McMahon. This would explain why a good amount of wrestlers backed Del Rio when he left the company.

He has remained motivated despite not being given a push in a while. Miz has also been studying legendary actor Andy Kaufman, who will forever have a place in wrestling history thanks to his memorable story line with Jerry Lawler during the 1980s, so that he can improve his gimmick and character.

For those of you wondering about the status of Rey Mysterio in WWE, the masked performer is still taking time off. He was recently spotted on vacation in Mexico after spending time with his family in Hawaii. Despite his long history of injuries, Vince McMahon still wants Mysterio back, and he even activated a clause in his contract that immediately extended the deal. Mysterio, however, has second thoughts about coming back to WWE.

Since the company is hoping to generate some buzz, TNA has announced that Matt Hardy will be making his return to Impact Wrestling to team up with his brother, Jeff Hardy. Thus far, the TNA Hall of Fame consists of Sting and Kurt Angle, two of the more prolific performers in the history of the industry. A third member is set to join them. At Slammiversary 2014, Angle will be on hand to announce who the latest inductee will be. No official word on who the third person was going to be, but there are heavy rumors that Jeff Jarrett could be inducted as part of his departure agreement with TNA.

While a lot of fans are downplaying the amount of money that WWE is losing this year, those within the company, especially Vince McMahon, certainly are not overlooking the current drop. As of right now, WWE is on pace to lose approximately $52 million, most of which is due to the WWE Network. That amount is the second biggest loss by a wrestling company in history. WCW dropped $62 milloin one year.

With WWE needing all of their stars for the tour of Europe, the company decided to send a retired performer to Malaysia on a promotional tour instead. Ricky Steamboat, one of the most beloved stars in the history of WWE, flew overseas and promoted the October tour, which will feature two shows. The company has not been back in the country since 2002.

Today is a sad one for professional wrestling fans. It marks the third year anniversary of the death of Randy Savage, one of the biggest legends in WWE history. The former Intercontinental Champion passed away after suffering a heart attack and crashing into a tree while driving. Much like before his death, fans have been begging WWE to induct him into the hall of fame.

A status update on Twitter from Steve Austin, who revealed that he was visited by Eric Bischoff today. The two had a history of backstage heat towards one another because of how Bischoff treated Austin when the two of them were working in WCW together. It appears that the relationship has been mended.

WWE has a long history of doing things on screen that are designed to capture the interest of the mainstream media. The company succeeded in doing just that at Extreme Rules 2014 with the use of Vladimir Putin on the screen. It was designed to generate heel heat for Alexander Rusev and Lana. While he does not get featured as much by WWE nowadays, Pedro Morales will forever have a place in company history. The Puerto Rican star was the first guy to have won the WWE title, world tag team championship and the Intercontinental Championship. Morales even held the WWE and tag team championship, which he won with Bob Backlund, at the same time.

In one of the more interesting opening segments in the history of Monday Night Raw, Bray Wyatt brought out a group of kids to sing to John Cena, who was cutting a promo in the middle of the steel cage. WWE then had the kids putting on the sheep mask and surrounding the ring, which caused Cena to be thoroughly disturbed. Wyatt laughed uncontrollably to end the segment.

While he has been the target of criticism from online wrestling fans because his character does not defend the belt that often, Dean Ambrose has now become the longest reigning United States Heavyweight Champion in WWE history. With the Shield engaged in a feud with Evolution, it does not appear like Ambrose will be put in a title program any time soon.

The WWE web team recently put together a list of the best talkers in the history of professional wrestling, and they do not have a fan in Dusty Rhodes. The former world heavyweight champion was upset that he was not ranked in the top spot. Rhodes was listed at #5. He posted a message on Twitter to express how disappointed and disgusted he was with the results.

On their official website, WWE produced a list of the greatest talkers in the history of the business. The top five consisted of Ric Flair, Rock, Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper and Steve Austin. The more interesting inclusion, though, is CM Punk, who is listed at #16. The company has not made much mention of him since he walked away a couple of months ago.

For the longest time, WWE fans wanted to see Drew McIntyre winning championships in the company. That didn't happen often enough, and he ended up on the receiving end of a release from his contract. The former 3MB member has found a renewed sense of passion for the business. In addition to being rewarded with the Evolve championship, which he won from Kassius Ohno, McIntyre has been receiving praise from fans for some of intense promos that he has been cutting.

For a short period of time there, Titus ONeil had his name linked to rumors that he was joining Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston in their new stable. However, it looks like he has been crossed off the list of candidates. ONeil has now been penciled in as a permanent tag team with Heath Slater, who was left with nothing to do when WWE released Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre.

While a lot of fans were under the impression that he would be on the receiving end of a contract release along with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre, Heath Slater has managed to survive and is still with WWE. Unfortunately, though, the company really does not have any plans for him at the moment. He's basically just a filler guy at live events, teaming up with various partners for the time being.

During a recent interview, Jinder Mahal revealed that he was surprised by his WWE release. He stated that he and Drew McIntyre had no signs from management that they were on the bubble. Mahal noted that 3MB, which currently only consists of Heath Slater and Hornswoggle, was booked on a lot of events, so they felt that their job security was not a concern at the time. WWE, however, needed to cut cost.

Since WWE owns the name, Jinder Mahal is going by a different moniker now that he has been given a release and is looking for work on the independent wrestling circuit. He will now be known as Raj Singh. While he is taking bookings through an agent, it's interesting to note that he has not teamed up with Drew McIntyre in an attempt to be signed as a package.

As many of you already know by now, Drew McIntyre, who was once viewed as a future world champion in WWE by both Vince McMahon and the fans, received his release from the company earlier this month. The talented and underrated performer will now be forced to use a different name if he wishes to continue in the professional wrestling industry because WWE owns the trademark. The belief is that he will wrestle under his real name for the time being.

In quite the shrewd marketing move, Chris Jericho has signed up Drew McIntyre for an interview. Fan interest in this particular episode of his podcast should be higher than usual since McIntyre was recently given a release from WWE. Jericho teased that the former Chosen One will break his silence during the segment. There is actually a good chance that McIntyre will vent on bring used poorly by the company.

The two of them worked a tag team match over the weekend at a WWE live event in Canada. The faced Diego and El Torito in a losing effort.

The praise began when Vince McMahon himself went on television and declared that McIntyre was a future star in the company. That never came to be. After floating around as a member of 3MB, McIntyre has now received his release from WWE.

During the Extreme Rules 2014 kickoff match, El Torito defeated Hornswoggle. He picked up the pin fall victory after jumping off the top rope and driving Hornswoggle through the table. Miniature tables and ladders were utilized during the WeeLC match. Diego, Fernando, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre were all involved in the match.

There are also four spots available for last minute entrants.

Earlier in the year, it was hard to fathom that 3MB would be working a match at Wrestlemania 30 because Drew McIntyre, Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal have been barely used by WWE in relevant roles. However, all three are now confirmed for the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal. The move should appease Slater a bit, as he has been growing a bit frustrated backstage.

There are talks backstage that Heath Slater has grown really frustrated with his role in WWE. He has only had one televised win since November of 2013. He has also been utilized just once on Monday Night Raw this year, teaming with Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre in a losing effort to guest stars Rikishi, Brian Christopher and Scotty 2 Hotty.
