"I really am living the dream and returning to the UK, whatever the reaction, really tops its off. It has been a whirlwind year or so really but I can’t think of a better way to top it off than with this tour and getting to wrestle for TNA in front of my hometown crowd. It might be a cliché but it really is a dream come true, I have wanted to be a wrestler for so long and now being able to do it, is just amazing.”

- Rockstar Spud talks about being on Impact Wrestling in England

Batista
Since the final episode of Monday Night Raw before Wrestlemania 30 is in his hometown of Washington DC, Batista has been booked in a non title match against Randy Orton that evening. The belief is that WWE will make Batista look strong that night, so that fans will believe that Orton has a chance at losing the belt at the pay per view.

Dolph Ziggler
In a rather interesting bit of news, WWE did a live event in Long Island this weekend, and they purposely opted not to use Zack Ryder, the hometown hero. In what could be a show of defiance towards management, Dolph Ziggler did an in ring tribute to Zack Ryder during his match by doing a couple of his Ryder's signature moves.

CM Punk
A widespread belief in the industry is that if CM Punk were to return to WWE, it would have taken place at Monday Night Raw this week since it took place in his hometown of Chicago. The timing would have been great, and it would have enabled the creative department enough time to set him up for a big spot at Wrestlemania 30.

CM Punk
Rumors are heating up that CM Punk will be returning to WWE this week on Monday Night Raw, which is taking place in his hometown of Chicago. Nothing has been confirmed, however, and the belief is that a lot of this speculation is being fueled by wishful thinking. Vince McMahon has been trying to get through to Punk to get him back in time for Wrestlemania 30, though.

Diego
Since the company was doing shows simultaneously at both ends of the state, WWE decided to book Rey Mysterio up north instead of doing the show in his hometown. That turned out to be quite the costly mistake for management, as the show in San Diego drew very poorly at the gates without the popular masked star.

Cameron
While WWE has often times chosen to humiliate performers when they're working in front of their hometown crowds, management opted to give Cameron a win on Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles. She posted this special message on Twitter to commemorate the night.
February 13, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Since it is heavily integrated into his character, most fans associate Rey Mysterio with his hometown of San Diego. In a rather interesting move, WWE opted not to utilize him as the live event in that city over the weekend. Instead, he was sent up north to San Jose to work a six man tag team match featuring Mark Henry, Xavier Woods, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro.

CM Punk
In a sign that the backstage heat is still there, WWE has removed CM Punk from advertisement for the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw that is set to take place in his hometown of Chicago in March. Management was hoping that he would return by that point, in order to avoid being in a hostile environment filled with angry fans.

Batista
"I've always considered myself a WWE fan first and foremost, but I'm completely confused why some fans can't differentiate between show and reality. Also noticed that most critical fans don't have pictures of themselves posted. Need to take a good look in the mirror, people in glass houses. Anyways, peace to all my positive people. Looking forward to the day when I can go back to interacting with Twitter without all the negativity." - Batista discusses WWE fans

Trevor Murdoch
"I'm grateful. WWE gave me an opportunity to do a number of things, to fulfill career goals and dreams, but also the opportunity to get in front of a national audience. I have nothing but good things to say about WWE and a lot of fond memories of being a champion, wrestling overseas and learning about the business from a different perspective." - Trevor Murdoch looking back on his career

Steve Austin
"Which one of these motherfuckers talked to god, and god said that same sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some 411 on that background? I've got some damn good friends that are gay. I'm absolutely for same sex marriage. I don't think that there is a god that says you cannot do this, you cannot do that. If two cats can't get married, but then a guy can go murder 14 people, molest 5 kids, then go to fucking prison and then accept god, he's going to let him into heaven. After the fact that he did all that shit? See, that's all horse shit to me. That don't jive with me." - Steve Austin on gay marriage

He'd tell us all we can be sad but not lazy :) join a gym and put down that chocolate bunny. Lacey Von Erich
"If you never want to have a family or a wife or time to yourself, and you like being verbally and mentally abused, then you should [get into wrestling]. I say go for it. [That abuse comes more from] the locker room. Definitely the locker room. TNA is very different than WWE. WWE was very political. I wasn't in there yet. They were like, 'You're a Von Erich. You better be amazing at wrestling,' and things like that. And I wasn't. I'm more of an actress than I am a wrestler. I'd rather play a character than get hurt on the mat. That's what I'm better at. I'm better at acting. That's what I wanted to do. Vince called me. He's the one that got me into this. He's the one asked me, 'Do you want to be a wrestler? Try to be a Diva?' He brought me out and and I signed the contract that night and went into training. I wasn't expecting it to come as much. It really blew up and they expected so much of me, but then TNA called and they really embraced me as like a family member." - Lacey Von Erich talking about backstage politics in WWE

I graduated in May 2006, flew out to Atlanta for a week to tryout, and by July 2006 I was signed and training in Atlanta. I took a little bit different path than most WWE superstars have taken. I'm one of the few superstars who have gone through all three of the developmental camps." - Jack Swagger reveals his path to the WWE developmental program

Camacho
"Dominance. I know that my opponent doesn't hit harder than me. Heck, my opponent probably doesn't even hit harder than my mom. I plan to accomplish my goals of being the No. 1 contender for the WWE NXT Title, becoming NXT Champion and then ridding this place of the circus characters that annoy me. After that, I'm gonna reconstruct the foundation of NXT and rebuild this place the right way. I'm gonna make NXT respectable again." - Camacho talking about his stint in developmental
April 20, 2014
Jim Ross
"Where did the info come from that ESPN was interested in Renee Young? Not saying it's true or not but it certainly made the rounds quickly within the IWC. Renee is a talented, young woman, without question, and I wish her the best no matter what she decides to do long term with her career. Renee has skills, a great look and isn't a high maintenance talent but is easy to produce." - Jim Ross on rumors about ESPN being interested in WWE interviewer Renee Young
April 20, 2014
Kevin Nash
"I love Roddy Piper and respect him. What I did was disrespectable. He was a legend. I was a raw Detroit guy. Wish it didn't happen. I fucked up. When you strike a man and see fear in his face at my size, you realize you're playing the bully. I was bullied as a 6'10, 212 pound 14 year old." - Kevin Nash apologizing to Roddy Piper
April 20, 2014
Eric Bischoff
"Roddy Piper is a deranged old fool. He got bitch slapped to the floor. Hulk Hogan, Sean Waltman, Scott Hall and Eric Bischoff were in the room. Let it go, Rod. Pod cast invite?" - Kevin Nash telling a backstage story about Roddy Piper and mockingly asks for an invitation to do a podcast interview

Manik
"My contract was started midway thru the year last year but altogether with salary+appearances I was on pace for roughly $75,000-$84,000 for a year period. That's if my schedule is as busy as it was last summer/fall. Also that's only counting TNA. I'd make a lot more if I kept up with other bookings outside but I just don't. I'm also guaranteed a huge chunk of that regardless of if I wrestle or not. So it's pretty ok considering I do what I love. I'm on the low end on the roster too. Most guys do way better than me." - Manik reveals salary in TNA
April 19, 2014
Mick Foley
"Honestly, I'm probably not going to sign my Legends deal with WWE because I don't think they did the right thing by the guys with the video game. The check was a little low. Last year, there was a bankruptcy, but this year there wasn't. So, I don't see the upside to signing the Legends deal when the carrot isn't there dangling. So, I'm not going to sign my Legends deal." - Mick Foley reveals why he is not signing a new contract with WWE
