Dixie Carter

IMPACT Zone

In a couple of days, TNA will be making their return to a place that was home for the longest time. Impact Wrestling is being taped at the IMPACT Zone for the first time in a long time. Dixie Carter has decided to film a couple of episodes there. A permanent return is not currently in the works, as the company really likes doing shows in New York as well. The belief is that the company will keep finding venues to film their episodes.

Kevin Von Erich return

When Kevin Von Erich showed up in TNA, many were under the assumption that it was a one shot deal. Turns out, that is not the case at all. Dixie Carter announced via social media that the legendary Texas wrestling star is making another return to the company. He and his sons will be showing up on episodes of Impact Wrestling that are being taped in February. No further details have been released at the moment.

Bully Ray

Bully Ray contract

Since he made an appearance as Bubba Ray during the Royal Rumble, a lot of fans are under the assumption that Mark LoMonaco is officially back with WWE on a full time basis. Some are even ruling out the possibility of a return to TNA. That is not the case at all. Vince McMahon has yet to make him an offer, and there is a chance it might not happen at all. If the money is right, then he could sign with Dixie Carter and bring back the Bully Ray character.

TNA changing rings

When the contract with Destination America had been signed and sealed, Dixie Carter wanted to reboot a lot of things about Impact Wrestling. One of the ideas being discussed was a potential return to the four sided ring. The reason why that topic was on the table was because there are still those within the company that believe that the traditional approach is still the best one. Plus, a lot of the wrestlers dislike it. The idea was eventually rejected.

No blood in TNA

Those that love the glorified violence that professional wrestling can bring to the table, are in for a bit of disappointment when Impact Wrestling returns to the air next month. Reports have surfaced that Dixie Carter has ordered for a ban on blood in TNA. The belief is that this move was strongly influenced by Destination America, as the network wants them to have a friendlier environment, so that the executives can pitch them to more advertisers.
