TNA signs Bobby Lashley

The latest news coming out of the TNA front office is that the company has managed to secure a new contract with one of their top performers. Bobby Lashley has signed a new deal that will see him remain with the promotion for at least another year. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be quite appreciative of the support that Dixie Carter has provided him while he pursues a career in mixed martial arts.

Kota Sekifuda to TNA

A new face will be showing up in TNA soon. Kota Sekifuda is reportedly being sent to the United States by Big Japan Wrestling to gain some more experience. They somehow worked a deal with Dixie Carter to allow him to gain that experience through her promotion. Sekifuda is a rookie in the business, and he will more than likely work a couple of hardcore matches during his tenure because BJW is known for that style.

Tara and Dixie backstage heat

When Tara left TNA, there was a feeling that there was some backstage heat between she and the company. Not a lot of details were leaked back then. That has changed now. During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, she revealed that she has a ton of backstage heat towards Dixie Carter. The veteran performer was upset that the company did not acknowledge the extra work she did with promotions when they were in Chicago.

TNA ads during Raw

Those that watched Monday Night Raw this week, saw some interesting commercials during the break. Some of them featured promotional material for Impact Wrestling, which caught the attention of and annoyed a lot of WWE fans. Reports have surfaced that Destination America was the one that paid for those advertising spots. When they signed a deal with Dixie Carter, they promised that they would put in a lot of effort into TNA.

Impact Wrestling promotions

During a recent interview, Dixie Carter revealed yet anther reason why TNA opted to sign a new television contract with Destination America. One of the things that the network promised was that they would be more supportive than Spike TV was. Part of their plan is to promote Impact Wrestling on the other channels that are under their corporate umbrella. That means that the promotion will be advertised across approximately a dozen channels.
