While a lot of the internet wrestling community is under the assumption that there is hostility between the two companies, TNA officials are actually glad to see ROH being picked up by Destination America. Various executives, such as Dixie Carter, and performers for the company have been showing their support via social media. The move might actually prove to be mutually beneficial for the two promotions, as it creates a bigger night of wrestling for everyone.

The move has obviously led to a lot of speculation by the internet wrestling community about the fate of TNA, where Dixie Carter is holding an emergency meeting with her performers today. The network is airing both promotions on the same night.

Even though the two promotions are on amicable terms, Dixie Carter does not want her contracted performers to work for Jeff Jarrett on their days off. Right now, TNA has a policy that enables them to work for another promotion, provided they are not utilized on television. Things could automatically work out for Carter, however, because it appears that GFW is on track to get a television contract with an unannounced network very soon.

When it was announced that Seiya Sanada was leaving the promotion, rumors spread that the relationship between TNA and Wrestle 1 had gone downhill. Apparently, that is the case, as the two companies are no longer doing business together. It is being said that the Great Muta has more of a relationship with Jeff Jarrett than Dixie Carter, whom he does respect. This is the reason why Sanada is now a member of the GFW roster.

From the moment that Dixie Carter revealed the big secret meeting earlier today, fans have been speculating like crazy on what Steve Austin has planned. The belief is that the two of them discussed business, which means that the former world heavyweight champion might be heading to TNA. That would be a tremendous boost to the promotion to have a legend like him on board. It would also be a great way to stick it to Vince McMahon.

When Jeff Jarrett and Dixie Carter parted ways, things were a bit complicated for AAA because they had relationships with both sides. The promotion signed a deal with GFW to do a talent exchange. Now, it appears that they are talking to TNA once again. The belief is that Carter is going to send a three man team down to Mexico to compete in the Lucha Libre World Cup Trios Tournament. No word yet on which performers will be sent.

Bobby Lashley has signed a new deal that will see him remain with the promotion for at least another year. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be quite appreciative of the support that Dixie Carter has provided him while he pursues a career in mixed martial arts.

A new face will be showing up in TNA soon. Kota Sekifuda is reportedly being sent to the United States by Big Japan Wrestling to gain some more experience. They somehow worked a deal with Dixie Carter to allow him to gain that experience through her promotion. Sekifuda is a rookie in the business, and he will more than likely work a couple of hardcore matches during his tenure because BJW is known for that style.

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, she revealed that she has a ton of backstage heat towards Dixie Carter. The veteran performer was upset that the company did not acknowledge the extra work she did with promotions when they were in Chicago.

Reports have surfaced that Destination America was the one that paid for those advertising spots.
