For years, the internet wrestling community has bashed TNA for signing former WWE stars. Through an interview with the Associated Press, Dixie Carter noted that the roles have now been reversed, as World Wrestling Entertainment has been seeking out her performers now. Samoa Joe and James Storm, who came back to Impact Wrestling this week, are two recent examples.

Whenever a television show moves from one television network to another, there is usually a drop in viewership because not everyone remembers the change or knows how to find the new channel. Dixie Carter has to be pleased because Impact Wrestling drew in more viewers on their POP TV debut than they did during their final televised episode on Destination America.

When it was revealed earlier tihs week that TNA was canceling their upcoming tour of India, the immediate question was whether or not the performers were going to be paid. After all, they had cleared their schedules to be available for Impact Wrestling. Reports have now surfaced that Dixie Carter has opted to pay the performers, even though they will not be heading overseas.

Unfortunately for them, they are going to have to wait a bit longer to see that happen. Dixie Carter has decided to postpone the tour. Now that they have secured a new television deal with POP TV, TNA officials have put plans in place to start filming more episodes of Impact Wrestling. Management has officially announced that Bethlehem, Pennsylvania will be the location for their new filming. The shows will take place in the beginning of January, so Dixie Carter is more than likely going to sign more performers before then.

Reports have surfaced that those meetings are in regards to finding a new television network for Impact Wrestling. WGN has sprung up as a leading candidate to be the new host. The two sides have negotiated a deal before.

The previous person who held the post was the one that made the decision to drop professional wrestling from their network. Dixie Carter may have a better chance with the new person in charge, who happens to be a woman as well.
