From the moment that Dixie Carter revealed the big secret meeting earlier today, fans have been speculating like crazy on what Steve Austin has planned. The belief is that the two of them discussed business, which means that the former world heavyweight champion might be heading to TNA. That would be a tremendous boost to the promotion to have a legend like him on board. It would also be a great way to stick it to Vince McMahon.

Unlike a lot of fans, Dixie Carter was smart enough to know that improvements were not going to take place overnight for TNA. It was going to be a gradual change that required a lot of patience. The company is moving back in the right direction. In addition to a planned tour later on this year, the company is also working on doing live episodes of Impact Wrestling again. They are going to test things out for a couple of weeks first.

After securing a television deal with Destination America to air Impact Wrestling in the United States, Dixie Carter turned her attention towards bringing the TNA product to fans up north in Canada. She has accomplished that now. The company officially announced that they have signed a contract with Fight Network. The deal is for more than a year, so that provides some security and stability. The first episode airs this upcoming Friday.

Dixie Carter has long been a huge fan of Taryn Terrell, especially since she has come a long way from her days as an inexperienced diva in WWE. Te company decided that they needed her around for at least another year. Taryn has agreed to a new contract with TNA that will see the current Knockouts Champion do just that. She has earned the praise of her peers backstage by being able to keep up with Gail Kim and Awesome Kong.

Great news for TNA fans in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A deal has now been completed, and fans will now be able to watch an hour long version of Impact Wrestling each week. It will air for free every Saturday night starting at the end of February. Dixie Carter signed a contract with DMAX, whose parent company, Discovery Communications, also owns Destination America. Thus far, the partnership has been quite fruitful.

That has been the case for Impact Wrestling, as a lot of fans struggled to find the new home of TNA. However, the numbers have been increasing as of late. A Destination America executive revealed that the show has drawn in over four million unique viewers over the entire month of January.

The network actually released an official statement to praise the results that Impact Wrestling has brought to them. Since he made an appearance as Bubba Ray during the Royal Rumble, a lot of fans are under the assumption that Mark LoMonaco is officially back with WWE on a full time basis. Some are even ruling out the possibility of a return to TNA. That is not the case at all. Vince McMahon has yet to make him an offer, and there is a chance it might not happen at all. If the money is right, then he could sign with Dixie Carter and bring back the Bully Ray character.

During a What Culture interview, Dixie Carter was asked who her dream signing would be for TNA. Without any hesitation whatsoever, she firmly stated that The Rock would be the ultimate person for her to bring to Impact Wrestling. She feels that with his massive worldwide popularity, he would be able to open a lot of new doors for the company. Carter also stated that even though she has never met him personally, she is a huge fan.

While WWE continues to alienate fans of women wrestling, TNA is heading in the other direction. One of their main directives since joining Destination America is that the division needs to become more of a priority again, just like it used to be a couple of years back. Dixie Carter wants to showcase the athleticism that her Knockouts have, and she also wants them to be able to display their personalities a bit more than before.
