Earlier in the year, there were rumors that Eric Bischoff was going to sign with GFW and help out on the production side of things. However, since he has legal issues with TNA, Jeff Jarrett may be reluctant to go down that route at this point in time because he has a business relationship with Dixie Carter currently. Things may change down the line, however.

While rumors are still floating around that TNA could be dropped by Destination America, Dixie Carter does not appear to be panicking, as the company will still be able to survive financially. Impact Wrestling is aired in a lot of different countries, and it reportedly generates a sizable source of revenue. The company will simply look for another domestic network in that scenario.

When TNA decided to bring Shawn Hernandez back into the company, they asked him if he was contractually free from Lucha Underground. He insisted that he was, but that turned to not be true. Dixie Carter was contacted about the issue. To avoid a potential lawsuit, she decided to release Hernandez from the promotion and remove filmed footage from upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling.

He has been the right hand man to Dixie Carter since before the two of them got into professional wrestling. It is being said that Barton is leaving to pursue other opportunities. This will cause some panicking among the internet wrestling community.

To expand her company even further, Dixie Carter has created a new position and brought in a very established executive to fill the role. Eric Sherman has been announced as the new Chief of Strategy for TNA. He worked more than 20 years for MTV and was the president of Fuse TV. Sherman will develop, coordinate and oversee global expansion and branding.

Now, there is a bit confusion, as Dixie Carter has stated on social media that both guys will still be working with the company. This should add further fuel to the fire that there is some sort of invasion story line being planned with GFW.
