In order to keep their Royal Rumble returns as a surprise to the audience, WWE went to great lengths to keep Diamond Dallas Page and Bully Ray hidden at the arena. The two of them were kept in a special tour bus that was parked inside the stadium. DDP revealed in a promotional interview with the Miami Herald that the two of them were stuck in there for approximately seven hours. He even compared the situation to being stuck in jail.

There are those that are under the impression that Diamond Dallas Page ended up in the hospital because he participated in the Royal Rumble match this year. That is not the case. The former WCW star stated that fans should not blame WWE for the incident because the injury started well before that pay per view. Doctors have informed DDP that his short participation in the match did not do any additional damage to his injured throat.

One of the many names that has been rumored as a mystery entrant at the Royal Rumble tonight is Diamond Dallas Page. Those rumors are looking pretty good right now, as the former WWE and WCW star has reportedly traveled from Utah to Philadelphia this weekend. DDP was in the Beehive State because he was attending the movie premiere of a film that is based upon the resurrection and rehabilitation of Jake Roberts.

As many of you already know by now, WWE loves having surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble each year. Management feels that the element of surprise is a major selling point for the pay per view. As always, they have been working the phones to see who would be a good candidate to fill those spots this year. A name that is being pushed heavily backstage is Diamond Dallas Page, who is now viewed as the ultimate good guy in the industry.
