Reverend Devon made money

Back when Devon was doing the reverend gimmick in WWE, he used to carry around a collection box. When asked about it during a recent podcast interview, the former tag team champion revealed that people were putting actual money into the container. Devon even stated that there was one night where he made more than $300. He even joked backstage that he would gladly trade in his contract with WWE for that.

Devon bashes TNA

Apparently, there may be some backstage heat between Devon and TNA. While responding to a fan through social media, he asked the person to not use the word impact, which of course is a reference to Impact Wrestling, because it brings up a lot of bad dreams. The angst could be due to the fact that management opted to not bring him back when his contract expired.

Bully Ray in WWE

When asked about what he would like to do if WWE were to offer him a permanent contract to return, Bully Ray was a bit more lenient than before. In the past, he stated that he only wanted to do a singles run. However, he recently mentioned that he would have no problems reforming his tag team with Devon. The belief is that he is trying to show management that he can be a team player, so that the company will offer him a contract.

Team 3D at Royal Rumble

Whenever the time comes close for the Royal Rumble, you can expect the rumor mills to be churning like crazy because of the mystery entrants tradition. This year is no exception. Two very interesting names have popped up. Reports have surfaced that Team 3D might be showing up for the pay per view. Bully Ray and Devon are both free agents, since neither one of them were able to come to terms on a contract with TNA.

TNA signs American Wolves

The tag team division in TNA should be more than solid for the next year, as the company has just announced that they have signed new contracts with the American Wolves. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are expected to be the centerpiece of the division. Management was really impressed with their performance over the last year, and they rewarded them with memorable feuds against Bully Ray, Devon, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy.
