After months of pleading, Eddie Guerrero finally managed to convince Eric Bischoff, the former president of WCW, to give Hispanic wrestlers a push. He formed the LWO, which was short for Latino World Order. The storyline was starting to heat up, but it was abruptly ended when Guerrero was involved in a serious car accident on New Year's Eve.
