Over the last year, fans became aware that Roman Reigns was on the fast track to the main event scene in WWE. The company views him as a potentially big superstar, and they put that to the test this weekend at a live event in Canada. Reigns was given a headlining spot against Bray Wyatt in a Hamilton street fight, which featured interference from both Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. WWE is showing a lot of faith in Reigns by letting him close out the show on top.

When Seth Rollins turned on the Shield and joined Triple H and Randy Orton, fans wondered which of his former partners WWE was going to have him feuding with first. It appears that the choice is going to be Dean Ambrose. The two of them worked a match at a live event in Ontario this weekend, meaning that they could have been getting in some practice before working matches on television. Rollins will eventually feud with Roman Reigns down the line as well.

Dean Ambrose
In an interesting move, WWE had Dean Ambrose defend the United States Heavyweight Championship at a live event in Saudi Arabia this week. He successfully retained the belt in a fatal four way that consisted of Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler. Ambrose has rarely been allowed to defend the US title over the last couple of months.

Alicia Fox
Those that watched Summerslam 2014 saw Nikki Bella doing her much rumored heel turn. She is expected to work in that role on television going forward. However, WWE did something peculiar at a live event in Sacramento over the weekend. Nikki worked as a baby face. She teamed up with Emma to defeat Alicia Fox and Layla El. The face team even attacked Rosa Mendes, who was portraying a heel character. No word yet on why WWE opted to do this.

There might be some good news for those of you that were excited about the new stable of Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston and Big E Langston. Dolph Ziggler
A little buzz was created this week when Dolph Ziggler defeated Randy Orton in the main event of a WWE live event. A lot of fans believed that this would be the start of a push for the former world heavyweight champion. However, that does not appear to be the case. Ziggler was simply substituting for Roman Reigns, who was on another tour. WWE usually lets the baby face win the final match of the night to send the live audience home happy.

It is being said that only a small amount of people bothered to leave the building.
July 28, 2014
Eva Marie
In the previous generation, Sean Waltman was the benchmark when it comes to fans giving him heat because they legitimately resented the performer. It looks like Eva Marie is going to be taking that mantle now. During a recent appearance at a WWE NXT live event, the red haired diva was treated rather rudely by the audience. Things became even worse after she put on a very sub par performance as well.

A black eye usually is not something to be proud of. It is, however, when you're a lifelong wrestling fan being punched by one of the greatest performers that the industry has ever seen. Bray Wyatt received a black eye during a big live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City over the weeken due to an errant punch by Ric Flair. Reports are stating that the incident happened because Flair forgot that he was wearing his hall of fame ring. There is said to be no backstage heat between the two due to the injury.

The widespread speculation is that R Truth and Xavier Woods will be joining Langston and Kingston soon to form the new group.

Management, however, felt that it was not the right time for such a thing. No word yet on whether or not Marella will get to say farewell to his fans on television.

WWE has been trying to phase him out of their marketing plans as of late.
June 22, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a rather interesting move, Curtis Axel worked as a baby face during a live event in Pennsylvania over the weekend. It was during a match against Alexander Rusev, where Axel explained to the audience that while they may not like him, they have something in common because they all love America. Rumors have it that this was simply a one time thing because they needed someone to work against Rusev that evening. Axel is not expected to do a full face turn anytime soon.
June 16, 2014
Adam Rose
Those that watch Monday Night Raw and Smackdown are already aware that Damien Sandow is being buried by WWE. June 15, 2014
Diego
For those that are wondering about the fate of 3MB after Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre received their release from WWE earlier in the week, it appears that the company will keep Heath Slater and Hornswoggle together. Dean Ambrose
While WWE is still trying to finalize plans for Hell in a Cell 2014, one thing is certain. Seth Rollins is going to be working a match inside of the huge steel structure. His opponent will either be John Cena or Dean Ambrose. Management has not yet made a decision on that, but the belief is that Cena has the advantage because he has been more of a proven draw over the years, and the pay per view desperately needs that drawing power since Brock Lesnar and the WWE title are not going to be present.
September 30, 2014

Dean Ambrose
A Shield reunion could be taking place as soon as Night of Champions 2014. Unfortunately, though, the trio will not be on the same side. There are talks now that instead of doing a singles match between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, WWE could opt to go with a tag team match. Dean Ambrose would make his return and team up with Reigns against the team of Rollins and Kane.
August 26, 2014
Seth Rollins
There is a split backstage in WWE when it comes to viewing Dean Ambrose as a main event performer. A lot of people in management do not view the former Shield member as someone of that caliber. He also has his supporters, and that group has probably increased in size after his superb performances with Seth Rollins at Summerslam 2014 and Monday Night Raw.
August 21, 2014
Kane
Expect to hear plenty of comparisons between Dean Ambrose and Steve Austin over the next couple of months. Seth Rollins
When it was announced that Dean Ambrose was going to be starring in an upcoming WWE Studios movie, the belief was that he was going to need to take some time off to film his part. August 16, 2014
Seth Rollins
On Monday Night Raw, fans saw Rob Van Dam being pulled from a Beat the Clock match against Seth Rollins. He was replaced by Heath Slater, who got the surprising win, thanks to distractions from Dean Ambrose. It turns out that WWE did that because RVD is actually not cleared to wrestle. He is still recovering from an unknown injury. For what it's worth, it appears that he might be fine soon, as the former world heavyweight champion is scheduled to head to Australia for the tour.
August 6, 2014
Roman Reigns
While he might not be as hyped as Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose is actually moving up quite a bit in the eyes of management. During a recent interview with CBS Radio in Washington DC, Batista was asked for his opinion on Roman Reigns. July 15, 2014
Seth Rollins
In a very exciting match, Seth Rollins outlasted Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger to capture the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. WWE wants to continue the war between Ambrose and the Authority, so they had Kane coming out and providing assistance to Rollins. Despite the heel tactic to win the match, the Rollins victory was actually cheered by a good amount of fans.
June 29, 2014
Rob Van Dam

Seth Rollins

Ambrose is still a member of the Shield with Roman Reigns, so they don't necessarily need to change what they wear.
June 18, 2014
Seth Rollins
In a sign of how quickly the heel turn decision was made, WWE still has yet to figure out what new gear Seth Rollins will be wearing now that he is a solo performer. That is one of the reasons why he still continues to wear the same gear as his former partners in the Shield, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Since it is viewed as one of the top priorities backstage, you can expect WWE to produce something new for him to wear soon enough.
