Last night, at Royal Rumble 2014, Shawn Michaels surprised the audience by seemingly breaking character and heavily praising Daniel Bryan while doing commentary. There are those that believe that he was simply setting up an upcoming story line for WWE by doing that.
While WWE had always planned on Daniel Bryan turning on Bray Wyatt, they originally were hoping to stretch the story line out for several weeks, but thanks to fans at a Michigan State basketball game doing the "Yes!" chant, management opted to speed things up and pulled the trigger on Monday Night Raw.
After being beaten severely by the group during the final hour of Monday Night Raw, Daniel Bryan finally succumbed and agreed to join Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, thus teasing a heel turn that could be a temporary thing.
There's a very good chance that we could be seeing a steel cage match between Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt on a pay per view very soon, as WWE is having the two of them work a match in one during the live events this month.
While there have been some speculations about the two of them engaging in a feud, there are currently no plans for CM Punk and Daniel Bryan to work against one another in a program from now until Wrestlemania 30.
It appears that Daniel Bryan will be moved into a feud with Bray Wyatt soon, as WWE has already scheduled them to work together on live events as practice.
As of right now, Daniel Bryan has been removed from the main event and WWE title picture with Randy Orton.
WWE realized that they had ruined the momentum of Bray Wyatt, so they decided to fix things by having him feud against CM Punk and Daniel Bryan.
