Daniel Bryan being questioned

While everyone is definitely concerned about his health, many backstage in WWE are questioning Daniel Bryan for his decision to not undergo additional surgery to repair his neck. For whatever reasons, he has opted against doing that. Bryan recently stated that age could be catching up to him because he feels that it has taken him longer to get back into a groove this time around. He is still expected to work Extreme Rules, however.

ROH stars in WWE

As good as NXT is, it appears that ROH is a better developmental program for WWE. All but two of their current male champions come from that promotion. Seth Rollins is the world champion. Daniel Bryan holds the Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Owens and Antonio Cesaro both hold titles. The only two guys that never worked for that promotion are Tyson Kidd and John Cena. The two divas champion never worked there.

Daniel Bryan signs

A rather interesting report has surfaced in regards to the audience that were attendance at the latest episode of Monday Night Raw in Des Moines. It is being said that security was taking away signs that were in favor of Daniel Bryan at the gate. When asked about the reasoning, security stated that there were already too many of the same signs in the arena already. As expected, WWE officials have denied the allegations.

Roman Reigns comparison

An interesting comparison was made recently in regards to how WWE is using Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns. Someone stated that it was like in 1994 when fans wanted Bret Hart to be pushed, but management went with Kevin Nash instead. Hart himself responded to the comparison by saying that he really wanted Nash to do well because they were friends, but he felt that the front office should have given Nash another year to be built up.

Brie Bella pregnant

There have been rumblings that executives from E! want to do a spin off show from Total Divas, and they wanted it to be centered around the massively popular Daniel Bryan and real life wife Brie Bella. WWE officials were said to be on board with the idea as well. The belief now is that the first season of that potential show could revolve around Brie being pregnant. Nikki Bella wants the same, but John Cena still refuses to budge.

Phoenix Suns WWE night

For whatever reasons, the Phoenix Suns have decided to do a WWE night on March 11. WWE is sending one of their top stars and his lovely wife to help out with the event. Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella will be on hand when the Suns take on the Minnesota Timberwolves that night. The couple will be making an appearance on the court and meeting with fans throughout the evening. No word yet on whether or not there will be other NBA events.

Smackdown taping

Since a good amount of the roster are on their way to the United Arab Emirates to do a quick tour, that means that WWE is running with a limited crew in the United States. In order to compensate for the loss of personnel, the remaining performers worked matches that were longer than usual. For example, the tag team turmoil main event match went approximately 45 minutes. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns were heavily featured in the match.

Regal inducting Bryan

While it is much too soon for the debate to take place, Daniel Bryan recently gave a response when asked who he would choose to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame some day. He opted to go with William Regal because he was the most influential person during his entire career. Bryan also stated that Regal would be a good choice because he is an excellent speaker and story teller. It also helps that Regal is still an employee with the company.
