One of the most disappointed people in regards to the early retirement of Daniel Bryan from WWE was Shinsuke Nakamura. The two of them are very close friends. Nakamura flat out told the media in Japan that he was leaving the country and moving to the United States so that he can have an opportunity to work against Bryan. That was one of the biggest reasons why he was willing to walk away from New Japan and sign with World Wrestling Entertainment.

When asked about his upcoming retirement, Mark Henry revealed an interesting choice to be the person that ends his career. The longtime WWE star said that he would not be opposed to the fans choosing how he ends his tenure with the company, but he really would like for someone like Daniel Bryan to be the person to do the honor. Henry feels that Bryan has the credibility for the role.

While management has been pleased with the work that Chris Jericho, Paige and Daniel Bryan have been doing on Tough Enough, they are not particularly pleased with the format of the show. That is the reason why the front office has been busy changing up plans for the returning Divas Search competition. They want it to be much better, as it is supposed to a stable of the WWE Network.

During a recent interview with Chael Sonnen, Paul Heyman stated that Roman Reigns lost his push because WWE made the mistake of bringing Daniel Bryan back. Heyman feels that the audience was hoping for Bryan to be given a super push, so they turned on Reigns because he was actually being pushed.

On Monday Night Raw, WWE announced that Daniel Bryan was going to be making an appearance at the Elimination Chamber kickoff show. He will be interviewed by the Miz. That has led to a lot of speculation within the internet wrestling community about the former world heavyweight champion potentially announcing his return that night. The real reason why management is bringing him in is because his DVD is being released on Tuesday.

It appears that WWE has called in some heavy hitters to make up for the loss of Steve Austin on the next season of Tough Enough. Chris Jericho has finally been announced as the host. He will be joined by a panel consisting of Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan and Paige. Not only that, the trainers are going to be Booker T, Billy Gunn and Lita. There will be guest appearances made on the show by Vince McMahon, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and John Cena.

While everyone is definitely concerned about his health, many backstage in WWE are questioning Daniel Bryan for his decision to not undergo additional surgery to repair his neck. For whatever reasons, he has opted against doing that. Bryan recently stated that age could be catching up to him because he feels that it has taken him longer to get back into a groove this time around. He is still expected to work Extreme Rules, however.
