As a sign of how seriously concerned WWE is about the health of Daniel Bryan, the company has now confirmed that he was sent home early from the tour of Europe. He worked a tag team match with John Cena during the Smackdown taping. The front office then put him on a plane, so that he can go home and recover. Officials are saying that it is a precautionary move. No word yet on when Bryan will be heading back on the road to work.

There is a lot of concern backstage in WWE over the health of Daniel Bryan. It is being said that his previous injuries are really having an effect on him. Some feel that he never fully recovered during his time off. Management is going to allow him to continue working to see if he can fight through it. However, the plan is to protect him as much as possible in matches. That is why we will see fewer singles matches from the former world champion.

There is still a good amount of concern backstage for Daniel Bryan. Some people feel that his long term health is in jeopardy because he refuses to have the type of neck surgery that WWE would rather have him do. There are even those that are comparing the situation to what the front office had to deal with Kurt Angle several years back. A big push will be hard to come by if Bryan does not have the trust of management in his corner.

There had been legitimate concerns backstage over his health, as many were under the belief that he would walk away like Edge did to ensure his long term health.
