While doing a promotional tour of Singapore, Daniel Bryan was asked by the media about his potential in ring return for WWE. Aside from stating that his career with the company might be coming to an end, the former world heavyweight champion also revealed that he was working on a compromise with management to enable him to return to the ring. World Wrestling Entertainment still refuses to let Bryant wrestle.

Even though he is sounding more and more certain that his career in WWE is over, Daniel Bryan talked to Yahoo and sounded as if he was still going to be a part of the company. The former world heavyweight champion reiterated his desires for the company to sign Shinsuke Nakamura, a big star in Japan. Bryan has long stated that he would absolutely love to work a dream match against his good friend.

When asked about his upcoming retirement, Mark Henry revealed an interesting choice to be the person that ends his career. The longtime WWE star said that he would not be opposed to the fans choosing how he ends his tenure with the company, but he really would like for someone like Daniel Bryan to be the person to do the honor. Henry feels that Bryan has the credibility for the role.

While the entire internet wrestling community are clinging on to hope that he can somehow make a recovery and return to the ring, Bret Hart is doubting that Daniel Bryan will ever wrestle again. He states that Bryan himself might not know that his in ring career is over because he does not want it to be over. Hart stated that he went through a similar thing in the past.

While it is much too soon for the debate to take place, Daniel Bryan recently gave a response when asked who he would choose to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame some day. He opted to go with William Regal because he was the most influential person during his entire career. Bryan also stated that Regal would be a good choice because he is an excellent speaker and story teller. It also helps that Regal is still an employee with the company.

During an interview with MMA Junkie earlier today, CM Punk was asked which current WWE star would have the best chance at transitioning from a career in professional wrestling to a career in mixed martial arts. His response was Daniel Bryan. Punk stated that Bryan was the only guy in the company that regularly trains in kickboxing and Brazillian jiu-jitsu. Bryan has never publicly expressed serious interest in making the transition over to UFC.
