When the Hulk Hogan controversy erupted, Damien Sandow and Curtis Axel were indirectly punished because their characters could no longer be featured. Sandow is one of the more talented performers in WWE, and he was sitting on the sidelines. Management might be fixing that soon, as there are talks that Sandow could be given his original gimmick back so that he can be featured again.

When it comes to airlines, it is safe to say that Damien Sandow is no longer a fan of United. The WWE star revealed through social media that two delays and customer service representives who did not care prevented him from being able to pick up a child, presumably his, from their first day of school. Sandow stated that you only get one chance in life to do that, and he lost out of that opportunity.

Sandow has long been considered one of the more under utilized performers in WWE. Many were hoping that he would receive a bigger push, but management does not agree with that notion.

There are those in WWE that are already second guessing the decision to have Big Show winning the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. He has not exactly done much with the trophy since then. His feud with Roman Reigns would have worked out just fine without the thing being involved. Rumors have it that a main source of discontent about the situation is that it would have better served someone like Damien Sandow.

Some are saying that he will be written off on Monday Night Raw during his match against Damien Sandow, who is trying to gain the rights to the name and likeness. However, there are also reports floating around that the former world heavyweight champion is still scheduled to work the upcoming episodes and the Extreme Rules pay per view.

On the latest episode of Smackdown, we saw that Miz and Damien Sandow will be facing one another at Monday Night Raw to decide which of the two will get to keep the name and the likeness of the character in WWE. While it would make more sense for Sandow to go back to his original name, the belief is that Mike Mizanin will drop the match, so that he can take some time off to go film a movie with Paige. He's going to need a couple of weeks.

Before he started doing his gimmick of mimicking Miz, Damien Sandow had a character that was very similar to what Lanny Poffo used to do in WWE. Some fans were critical of that. During a recent interview, Poffo came to the defense of Sandow. He actually went out of his way to point out that Sandow was one of the nicest wrestlers he met during Wrestlemania week. Poffo said that Sandow did not steal his gimmick. He is fine with it.
