Alberto Del Rio
Reports surfaced this week that WWE has banned Alberto Del Rio from wrestling in the United States for approximately 10 or 11 months because he was found to be in breach of his contract. The former world heavyweight champion will be allowed to work in Mexico as he pleases. Del Rio may not take legal actions against WWE because the company would be paying him a salary during the next year.

Great Khali
As many already know, WWE has been trying to downplay the importance of Great Khali to the company. For years, he was paid a very high salary because of his overseas marketing appeal. However, with WWE losing a ton of money lately, there are talks that the former world heavyweight champion could become a casualty soon. Giving him a release would save WWE close to a million dollars a year.

Hernandez
Over the last year, the status of Hernandez in TNA has been up in the air. We now know that the former tag team champion is no longer under contract. His deal with TNA expired, and management opted to not renew it. Instead, the company will be utilizing the salary slot on newer performers. That has been the company strategy as of late.

Frankie Kazarian
Since the two sides could not come to an agreement on a new contract, Frankie Kazarian finished up his stint with TNA this week by working a pair of taped Impact Wrestling episodes. Manik
"My contract was started midway thru the year last year but altogether with salary+appearances I was on pace for roughly $75,000-$84,000 for a year period. That's if my schedule is as busy as it was last summer/fall. Also that's only counting TNA. I'd make a lot more if I kept up with other bookings outside but I just don't. I'm also guaranteed a huge chunk of that regardless of if I wrestle or not. So it's pretty ok considering I do what I love. I'm on the low end on the roster too. Most guys do way better than me." - Manik reveals salary in TNA

Bray Wyatt
While the actual numbers are not available online as he is still a fairly new performer on the main roster, the belief is that Bray Wyatt does not have a high salary in WWE at the moment. The downside guarantee is said to be on the low end, but since he has been featured heavily on pay per view events, he supplements his salary with monthly bonus checks.
March 27, 2014
Jinder Mahal
While fans are under the impression that professional wrestlers are all getting rich, that simply is not the case, especially for a lower level performer like Jinder Mahal. The 3MB member is currently being paid $75,000 a year by WWE in downside guarantees. That salary seems like a lot, but Mahal has to pay for his own travel expenses every week.
March 26, 2014
Kofi Kingston
While he is not a main event performer in WWE, Kofi Kingston draws in a pretty good salary. His downside guarantee is $254,200 a year. Even though he does have to pay for his own travel expenses, Kingston does get thrown into a couple of pay per view events per year, which gives his annual salary a nice boost from the PPV bonuses.
March 24, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
Since he is viewed as an international marketing asset and an occasional main event performer, Alberto Del Rio is one of the few guys in WWE that has a salary that is higher than half a million a season. Brodus Clay
Thanks to being a part of a popular act for a while there, Brodus Clay maintains a pretty good salary from his bosses in WWE. The former bodyguard for Snoop Dogg is now being paid $170,000 a year as a professional wrestler. Being paid more than six figures is considered quite a feat for someone that does not receive consistent time on television.
March 19, 2014
Big Show
In order to steal him away from WCW, Vince McMahon had to throw a good amount of money at the Big Show. More than a decade after the fact, his salary still remains among the top of the list in WWE. Evan Bourne
There are those in the company that still believe that Vince McMahon is keeping wrestlers on the roster because of Linda McMahon and her ongoing political career. February 24, 2014
Brock Lesnar
"With Brock I'll be honest with you, he was getting paid about four or five times more than everyone else in the developmental programme because of who he was. You don't come across an athletic specimen like that who won the NCAA Heavyweight Championship everyday. However he was not a natural wrestling fan, not a natural wrestling student, he was a bit boring in the ring to be honest because he wasn't used to being a showman. Also for a world class athlete I didn't think he was trying five times as hard as his salary." - Jim Cornette discusses Brock Lesnar as a developmental wrestler

Great Khali

While he is no longer being pushed as a legitimate threat towards the main event scene, the Great Khali is pulling in a huge salary from WWE still. He is pulling in approximately $974,000 a year, which is mainly due to the fact that he is massively popular in India and generates interest from that market

Jack Swagger
On Monday Night Raw this week, fans witnessed Mark Henry making his return and attacking Damien Sandow. The belief is that he will be given a slight push from WWE, so that he can be utilized in an upcoming feud with Alexander Rusev, who desperately needs people to work against after he is done with Jack Swagger. Beating a performer as big as Henry should help further establish Rusev as a top level heel.

Vince McMahon
Rumors going around right now is that the impersonation gimmick that Damien Sandow has been doing is basically a way for the creative department to appease Vince McMahon, who has been known to find humor in stuff like this. June 2, 2014
Sami Zayn
As a sign of how much the company values his overseas appeal, Sami Zayn was brought on the tour of Europe with the main roster. The developmental wrestler worked matches with Damien Sandow and was actually given the win. April 25, 2014
Damien Sandow
There are people backstage in WWE that are questioning the Rob Van Dam return, as it almost feels like an afterthought.
